The River Waveney is just 200 metres away, ideal for gentle riverside walks and birdwatching. For keen walkers, there is direct access to a network of footpaths and bridleways, including the Angles Way long distance trail. Historic Bungay is also a must-visit: discover the Norman castle ruins, try some local cheese, and enjoy walking opportunities into the countryside and along the river. The city of Norwich, with its lovely cathedral, cultural attractions, shopping and restaurants, is less than 20 miles away. Alternatively, head to the breathtaking coastline with Walberswick and Southwold less than 25 miles away.
