This apartment was recently re-modeled and is in excellent condition.

Two bedroom apartment, both with double beds with bagged spring mattresses with “memory foam” cover for a very pleasant night.

Suite with hydromassage bath for a very relaxed bath.

All rooms in the house overlooking the sea.

Spacious and fully equipped kitchen, if you want to cook at home you will not miss anything.

HD TV with cable TV available and more than 150 channels to choose from, fiber Internet with WIFI network in the apartment.

Spectacular balcony facing the sea with a fabulous view over Salgueiros beach.

Private car park available.

City tax in Vila Nova de Gaia takes effect in December 2018. The city tax is instituted with a unit value of 1 euro, between 1 October to 31 March and 2 euros, from 1 April to 30 September, to be charged to guests aged 16 and over, and per night, up to a maximum of seven nights in a row.

Great Vacation Location!

This was a fabulous vacation spot for two family adult couples. We stayed 9 days and had no need to rent a car with close proximity to the beach, restaurants and groceries. We had no problem with our day tour hosts picking us up at our location, and Uber rides were always less than 5 minutes away. Highly recommend this VRBO for a fabulous Porto/Gaia vacation!

Wonderful stay in a cute beach community

We had a great stay in this well stocked, spacious, apartment, in a great location. Walking the beach is lovely and there are numerous restaurants and a grocery store close by. The private parking was a treat. We left the car parked and hopped in an Uber to see the town because it was so simple. A 5-7 Uber ride takes you to all of the action in Gaia with quick access to Porto. The host was so helpful and friendly, and even provided delicious coffee. We would definitely come back again.

Nice but noisy at times

We had a lovely time, the apartment was nice and location was good. The owner was very good and because he was out of the country his brother handled our booking. They set up a WhatsApp group so we could keep in touch. The only downside was the noise from motor bikes late at night even though the sound insulation was quite good at other times.

I rent this apart. in July and everything was great. It is right in front of the ocean. We were 2 couples and each one have big room with comfortable bed, private bathroom. The furniture is new and very nice and everything is included for the cooking. We had a car and a private parking. Délicious restaurant were nearby . Thank's to the owner. He is very kind and easy to talk with. If we go back to Porto, we will return to that place for sure.

Wonderful Beach Stay Close to Porto

We had a great stay. Hugo and his brother Marcos were wonderful hosts and ensured we were comfortable. The condo was very well equipped and maintained, and as stated close to all amenities. Although some things are a little worn, it did not detract from a pleasant stay. Watching the sunset every day over the ocean with a drink on the patio was especially enjoyable. The manual provided by Hugo was very helpful, but the local public transport system was a mystery. Not Hugo’s fault, but the website for Espirito Santos was less than helpful and despite searching, we never did figure out how to use it. Because we enjoy walking outside anyway, we still got everywhere we wanted to go. Thank you for a pleasant visit.

Très bon séjour dans un bel appartement situé dans un très bel endroit. Hugo, mon hôte, m'a très bien accueilli me donnant toutes les précisions nécessaires à mon séjour. Le vaste appartement, surtout lorsqu'on y séjourne tout seul, donne sur le front de mer, les restaurants sont à proximité ainsi que les commerces. Tout est dit dans l'annonce. Wunderschöne und große Wohnung in Toplage

Lage: Für uns der beste Ort um Porto und die Umgebung zu erforschen. Direkt an der Strandpromenade im Vorort Vila Nova de Gaia gelegen, die mit den kilometerlangen Holzstegen über die Dünen, dem Fahrradweg bis nach Porto und vielen Strandbars aufwarten kann. Mit einem Glas in der Hand von morgens bis abends den Strom der Vorbeiziehenden beobachten, wobei dies am Wochenende deutlich mehr Menschen sind als unter der Woche. Mit dem Fahrrad (einziges Manko, der Fahrradverleih ist erst am Hafen einige Kilometer entfernt) oder zu Fuß (für Spaziergänger, aber auch Jogger einfach ideal) zu einsamen Strandabschnitten, in Nachbarorte oder in das belebte Porto kommen. Alles ist möglich, wobei die Strecke bis nach Porto in die Altstadt mir persönlich dann doch zu Fuß zu weit wäre. Allerdings: Durch die beliebten Strandbars direkt vor der Nase gibt es einiges an Durchgangsverkehr bzw. viele Parkende direkt vor der Nase. Die Lautstärke, die dabei häufiger mal entsteht, ist der Preis, den man zahlen muss. Strand: Die Strände sind kilometerlang, schön breit und nicht überlaufen. Die Holzstege führen von der Straße über die Dünen und direkt an den Strand. In regelmäßigen Abständen gibt es die bereits erwähnten Strandbars, auf denen es sich abends auch viele Einheimische gut gehen lassen. Wohnung: Wirklich riesig mit zwei wunderschönen Schlafzimmern, einer großen, sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche und einem angenehmen Wohn- und Essbereich. Davor befindet sich ein kleiner Balkon, mit zwei Sitzgelegenheiten und einem kleinen Tisch (also vier Leute können sich dort nicht hinsetzen). Von dort aus hat man den besten Blick auf den Trubel und das Geschehen. Genauso einen tollen Ausblick auf Strand und Meer bietet sich von allen !!!! anderen Zimmern außer den Badezimmern und den Fluren (jawohl - mehrere). Die Wohnung ist perfekt ausgestattet. Vom Sonnenschirm über das Spül- und Waschmittel ist alles vorhanden. Es gibt sogar eine Tiefgaragenplatz für das Auto, wobei ich froh war, dass unseres nicht so riesig war. Das macht das Parken leichter. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt hier genau. Gastgeber: Hugo ist ein aufmerksamer und allzeit ansprechbarer Gastgeber, der versteht, was seine Gäste benötigen. WIR WOLLEN DEFINITIV WIEDERKOMMEN. (deshalb habe ich auch überlebt, ob ich alles so ehrlich=positiv beschreibe, aber ich freue mich ja selbst über gute Bewertungen und entsprechende Hinweise. Aber lasst uns noch einen Termin übrig.)

Die Kommunikation war von Anfang bis Ende super. Die Wohnung hatte alles was wir benötigt haben. Freundlicherweise wurden uns ebenfalls Strandhandtücher zur Verfügung gestellt, da konnten wir auch den nicht vorhandenen Kinderhochstuhl locker verkraften. Die Lage an sich ist ganz besonders, auch wenn die Straße stärker frequentiert ist als ich es erwartet hatte. Dies ist aber nicht die Schuld des Vermieters. Alles um die Ecke, vom Café, über das Restaurant bis zum Supermarkt alles fußläufig erreichbar. Wir hatten insgesamt genau den Urlaub, den wir uns erhofft hatten. Muito Obrigado Hugo! Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn man uns lässt.

Die Erinnerung ist gut geblieben.Wir waren uberascht, das Hugo etwas unfreundlich war wegen zwei zusatzlich genutzte Handtucher.Nach lange Reise ware viel angenehme in ein warmes Wohnung reinkommen.Besser vorher absprechen,automatisch lauft das nicht.
