Near the river and the beach

Near the historic center of Porto and the Port Wine Cellars, in a quiet fishing village, near the river, the sea and the beaches. You can enjoy nature and quiet while being close to Porto's main tourist and historical sites.

The apartment was renovated in 2018. The building is located in Afurada, a small fishing village in Vila Nova de Gaia, on the left bank of the Douro River and within walking distance of Porto Historic Center and Porto Wine Cellars.

Within walking distance are Douro Marina and the Douro Estuary Nature Reserve. The reserve is the place for the shelter and nesting of many birds. A perfect place for bird watchers and nature photographers. In the area there are many restaurants, small supermarkets and bakeries.

Ground floor: 1 bedroom living room with sofa bed, kitchen, toilet with shower and storage.
Upper floor (38 m2): 1 bedroom and living room.

The house is equipped with: microwave, toaster, fridge, kettle, magic wand, kitchenware, iron, bed linen and towels, vacuum cleaner and heaters. It offers internet access (WiFi) and cable TV.

Sehr nettes, kleines Feriendomizil unweit der Marina von Porto in einem netten, alten Stadtteil mit vielen Lokalen. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und offen. Einzig allein das doch recht kleine Bad wäre zu erwähnen, was für uns Normmenschen kein Problem darstellte, aber sehr große bzw. korpulente Menschen es vermutlich als zu eng empfinden würden. Ein Nahverkehrsanschluss (Bus) ist nur 10 min entfernt, obwohl man auch einfach ein Stunde zu Fuß am Douro entspannt in die Stadt gehen kann. Eine Badestelle am Fluss ist keine 10 min weg, der Strand am Atlantik nur 30 min zu Fuß oder ratzfatz mit dem E-Scooter oder Fahrrad, die jederzeit im Stadteil zur mittlerweilen üblichen Schnellmietung zu finden sind. Insgesamt hat es gehörig dazu beigetragen, dass wir unsere Zeit in Porto sehr genossen haben. Danke.

Todo bien, el pueblo de Afurada típico y con el encanto propio de un pueblecito se pescadores, espectacular cenar en sus restaurantes pescados a la brasa y disfrutar del ambiente.

Schöne Wohnung mit guter Lage

Die Wohnung ist schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist ziemlich klein. Das obere Schlafzimmer liegt unter dem Dach und ist für große Personen eher nicht geeignet. Das Haus liegt direkt an einer Straße und es ist dadurch recht laut wenn die Autos vorbei fahren. Nach Porto sind es ca 3 km zu Fuß, man kann die Strecke auch mit dem Auto fahren und sehr günstig parken.

Super schöne kleine Ferienwohnung. Nah am Strand und Fischerdorf.

Vila Gaia Nova ist ein schöner Stadtteil von Porto. Liegt direkt am Fluß. Ferienwohnung ist nahe der schönen Badestrände. Das historische Zentrum liegt in der Nähe. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind in ausreichender Form vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Dorf und im Supermarkt in der Nähe. Sehr nette Hauswirtin hat uns mit vielen Informationen versorgt. Ausstattung der Wohnung ist sehr gut. Wir haben uns sehr erholt. Kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für alle Infos.

Estadia muito aprazível e tranquila

Apartamento muito bem equipado e elegante, lugar tranquilo e calmo, para quem gostar de pesca aconselho, perto de restaurantes onde o prato forte é o peixe. Gostei imenso do lugar, pena ter sido pouco tempo.
