This is a cozy apartment in Miramar, Vila Nova de Gaia, close to the beach (50 meters), for a pleasant summer or winter vacation or a 3 day stay. The apartment is set in a building with a surrounding green area that features a swimming pool. The apartment receives sunlight all day long.
The apartment, conveniently furnished and equipped with the necessary resources to receive 4 people, has 2 bedrooms, one with private bathroom and the other single room with a double bed, a single and a cot. And the famous Port Wine cellars. All possible comfort. Ideally situated. 700m from the train station to the south (Aveiro) and to the north (Porto). Beaches with great sand and lots of sunshine, near the well-known Capelinha do Senhor da Pedra, with the possibility of various sports, such as diving, fishing, Coastal Station da Acuda, Gaia Biological Park, Zoological Park, Quinta de S. Inácio, El Corte Ingles. Regional and seafood restaurants. PORTO (10km), sightseeing on the Douro river, Ribeira do Porto, integrated in the medieval historical center and Ribeira de Gaia. Foz do Douro River and visit to Sea Life. Several museums. Several Shopping Centers. Area surrounding the apartment very diverse beach / countryside and town.

A wonderful apartment in a perfect locationWe felt at home in this apartment from the very first moment. The apartment is spacious, cozy and beautifully bright, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.We would especially like to highlight the very friendly and helpful hosts. Communication was always reliable and pleasant, and every question we had was answered quickly and without any problems. We couldn’t have asked for better hosts.As a lovely welcome gesture, we found a large bottle of water, Port wine and juice waiting for us. This was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel very welcome.The location is also fantastic: the beach is within easy walking distance, and there is a bakery directly across the street. Just a few meters further, you will find several small restaurants, as well as the famous little Senhor da Pedra Chapel, right by the beach.All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely book this apartment again. We highly recommend it and would like to thank our lovely hosts for making our stay so enjoyable!

Home base to explore Porto

Wonderful apartment near the beach; fantastic place for my wife and I plus another couple to stay for 3 nights while we explored Porto and area. A bit rainy and cool while we were there, so really only visited the beach to see it, but a terrific spot away from the hustle of the bigger city.

Nice flat with everything you need for a greate stay. We had a greate stay, Nice big flat, close to the beach, lovely to walk by the beach, and plenty off places to est around the area. Easy to communicate with owner.

Lovely apartment

Eunice made my wife and I feel very welcome at her apartment. It was very spacious, clean and close to local amenities. Would recommend as a holiday home to stay at close to Porto.

Great stay

Super clean, beautiful place to stay. The hosts met us to give us a quick tour and show us how to use the garage and locks. We loved using the bikes. There is a great bike path nearby. The place is so close to the ocean we could walk and see each sunset.

Wonderful apartment, with parking!

We had a marvelous time. Very clean, we had everything we needed, walked and enjoyed the beach, and truly loved this apartment! Secure parking below with bicycles to explore the coast line, and it was very quiet! Nicely furnished, all of the amenities, felt like a home away from home!

Very good apartment near Oporto

I spent 3 nights with my family in this fully fornished apartment. It is located in Vila Nova de Gaia, 10 min by car to Oporto and real 5 min of walking distance from the beach of the evocative small church Capela do Senor da Pedra, just....sourronded by the sea! The apartment is modern and spacious and the location very calm. The owner is a very kind person. In conclusion, I recommend this solution for your staying in the area of Oporto

A well equipped, modern apartment within 5 minutes walk of the beach. The apartment itself is to a high standard, the kitchen even has toaster, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave etc. Underground car park with access to bicycles. It was clean and well cared for. Small minimarket within a couple of minutes walk. Larger supermarkets including Lidl within 10 minutes drive. Upmarket restaurant close by, but we really liked the S Martino Italian 5 minutes walk north. The beach was not that busy at this time of year (Sept), tidal with some undercurrents - lifeguards at certain times - so perhaps better to swim in the pool. Large dedicated cycle paths up and down the coast, fairly easy to cycle into Porto which we did one day. Beware that the location on HomeAway map is about 1 mile north of actual location. It's actually opposite Padaria Armeno, a cafe/bakery, in a block with shops on the ground floor. There was no information guide book which you usually find with rented apartments - facilities nearby, numbers to call, tips for equipment use etc. The owners did mention a few sights to see and local amenities when we arrived. Pool is fairly basic with no shade, sunbeds The most difficult aspect was the lack of soundproofing on the apartment block - noise from neighbours is difficult to block out and went on into the evening. This was much worse during our stay because the apartment directly above was being renovated, with workers drilling and scraping during daytime.

La ubicación del apartamento es muy buena, muy cerquita de la playa. La limpieza también buena. Pero hay dos puntos fundamentales negativos: el colchón de la cama de la habitación principal es durísimo, es como dormir encima de una tabla. Las duchas son también bastante deficientes. Es una pena, porque estos dos aspectos tan importantes (dormir y ducharse) se podrían cambiar con un poco de inversión y cambiarían completamente la experiencia

Prezada convidada, lamentamos não saber apreciar um bom colchão ortopédico. O colchão é da marca COlunex, uma prestigiada marca nacional e internacional de fabrico de colchões. Cada colchão custa para cima de 2500,00 Euros. Lamentamos estar habituada a dormir num colchão de espuma e não saber distinguir o que é bom do mau. Em relação aos chuveiros, estamos preocupados com o desperdício de água, por isso usamos redutores de poupança de água. O pacote não incluía um SPA. Atenciosamente.

Sehr gute Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut und alles was man braucht, ist in direkter Umgebung. Die Wohnung selber ist sehr schön. Leider lässt sich im Wohnzimmer ein Rollladen nicht öffnen, es richt stark nach Abfluss in der Küche und die Matratzen im Elternschlafzimmer sind sehr sehr sehr hart. Uns tat der Rücken sehr weh nach den Nächten. Die Einrichtung ist älter ich schätze aus den 90ern. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Eine Kapselmaschine wäre uns für Kaffee lieber gewesen, Filter ging aber auch. Der / die Vermieter sind sehr nett und wir wurden mit Kuchen und Porto empfangen. Von den Tischlampen waren 2 leider defekt bzw. es waren keine Glühbirnen vorhanden.

Schönes Appartment

Das Appartment ist sehr schön, der Empfang war herzlich mit selbstgebackenen Kuchen und einer leckeren Flasche Portwein. Zur Wohnung gehörte auch eine Tiefgarage-sehr praktisch. Nur die angekündigten Rä#der waren für unsere Größe zu klein und ließen sich auch niocht ausreichend verstellen.

Appartement spacieux et bien situé

Sejour très agréable dans cet appartement très propre et pratique pour une famille. Idéalement situé avec la plage à 50 mètres et 15 minutes du centre ville de Porto en voiture. Merci pour l'accueil très gentil du propriétaire!

Au calme et proche de Porto

Proche des trains pour gagner Porto rapidement sans prendre la voiture, dans une résidence calme avec garage et piscine, commerces à proximité. Appartement confortable et bien équipé. Grâce à tout ça, une belle semaine pour découvrir Porto et toute la région.

Superbe séjour !

L'appartement est très propre, très spacieux, tout est accessible facilement a pied (restaurants, supérettes, plage, train). Petit plus pour les 2 salles de bain, très pratique en voyage de groupe. Encore merci a Eunice pour l'accueil, ça sympathie, et ça disponibilité !

Le propriétaire est charmant l’appartement est très grand, fonctionnel et très propre. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut papier wc essuie tout lessive etc …. Des vélos, parasols à disposition
