Absolutely stunning mid-century modern home nestled on a hill with great views of Hamilton and mountains. The arrival prep from cleanliness to comprehensive stocking of home necessities to candles burning on arrival to set mood are all second to none. And communication with the host is absolutely amazing. Will definitely stay here again when back in town.
This was a great stay in Hamilton. Short drive to the city center. Amazing view of the mountains fro them front yard. This location was exactly what our family was looking for!
Met Adult children, spouses, and their children at the property for a wedding of another granddaughter in Stevensville. Everything about the house was great! the rooms, The views, the location, everything!
Three generations were in Hamilton for a family reunion and stayed in this very sweet home. The location was great and the home was set up well for our families. Would absolutely stay again.
Beautiful house with a lot of character and lots of room. The separation of spaces was perfect for our group. The patio out back was the perfect location for visiting.
The original 1940's features are amazing, especially the sleeping "cubbies" upstairs. Easy walk to downtown and Naps (Hamilton's justly popular burger grill). The house is going to be our first-choice place to stay from now on.
We loved our stay at the house. The hostess was fabulous. It was quaint and charming and felt like an old house but was well maintained. The only challenge was they needed more bathrooms as there were only two.
This house was so cool! It is a time capsule, an absolute gem. Very clean, central location, close to town and the Stock Farm. Fits a lot of guests! Would stay again. Thank you for having us!
We came to Hamilton to visit family, and this property was the perfect configuration for us. The cousins enjoyed the upstairs "kid" rooms, and the adults had good space in the other rooms as well. The house has a lot of vintage charm, but with all the necessary updates to make it comfortable. Layna was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely stay!
This house was a great experience overall. Our dog stayed with us along with our son's dog and they enjoyed the grass. It was a great location for HS graduation just a couple blocks away. I recommend this property if you want to stay in the Hamilton MT area.
Extremely cute farm house, loved the built ins. Common room was very helpful for a softball coaches headquarters to go through uniforms to hand out!! While coaches were working kitchen was full with kids being feed, just the feel was homely and we would love to stay next year!!!
Clean, fully equipped, private, functional and tons of character!! The configuration of the bedrooms provide several options for a group. The main floor was perfect for a large family gathering, providing the opportunity to mingle with everyone and have separate conversations in the adjoined family areas. The unfinished basement was great for the younger cousins to hang out and play ping pong or just laugh and play. Bonus was the colorful foliage to play in and trees to climb!! Very large yard could accommodate a very large group in the warmer months. Thank you so much for hosting our family during our trip to celebrate the life of our beloved Uncle.

David and I clean the house ourselves and each time guests strip the sheets and start towels we’re grateful. Your extra care is very appreciated. I’m happy to know your family had a good stay at this time of loss. Thank you for being lovely people.
Very easy to get to town and mountains from house, would rent again

About the host
Hosted by Layna and David
I am a 5th generation Montanan born and raised in Hamilton. David is from Bellevue WA. We both work in the film industry, therefore we travel a lot for work. We live part time in North Hollywood, CA and the best part of our lives is when we return home to Hamilton. Hamilton has great food, hiking, skiing, fishing, birding, bowling and the community always has something fun planned each week. Plus, I think the folks who live in Hamilton are the best!
Why they chose this property
This property was custom built for Betty and Theo Fullerton and their 4 boys in 1948. Theo owned Fullerton plumbing and heating. My grandmother and Betty were good friends and each time I walk into the kitchen I think of how they must have drank tea together.
What makes this property unique
The Fullerton house sits on a hill next to historic Daly properties, which were built in 1890. I love the idea of mid-century modern brick house in the Bitterroot, which is very rare. When we purchased the house in 2017, we returned it to it's earliest state that we knew, the 3rd story bedrooms are painted the way it was when the Fullertons lived there. The furniture in the living room has colorful fun furniture. The house is decorated with a lot of David's mothers art, lamps and knick knacks. It's very quiet and comfortable and big enough to have your whole family stay.
