Westlake Village Charming Country Guest Cottage in Private Country Setting

The Charming 1 Bedroom Guest Cottage in a beautiful, safe, rural setting, surrounded by nature with plenty of shady oak & fruit trees plants, flowers & ocean breezes. It is the best of both worlds. You feel like you are far from everything yet you are only 1 or 2 miles from all amenities. The Guest Cottage is a guesthouse on our property, it is detached with it’s own driveway and fenced yard. It is very private.

The spacious living room, kitchen, and great room area has vinyl laminate wood floors, lofty high ceilings, and abundant windows that invite natural light to fill the space. Our fully-equipped kitchen offers everything you need, and a 48" ROKU LCD TV is there for your entertainment.

The bedroom has a Queen Memory Foam Bed. From the bedroom, you can gaze out onto the private patio that sets the scene for outdoor dining and serene relaxation. Enjoy the modern conveniences we offer, including high-speed Fiber optic wifi, central air and heat, and a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable.

We provide ample parking, as well as a washer and dryer for your use. The fenced private patio ensures your privacy and a sense of seclusion. Set in a cul-de-sac, the street enjoys minimal traffic, granting you the peace you seek.

Adjacent to the Guest Cottage is a separate studio apartment, also available for rent. (mostly to one guest for 1-3 months terms). Please rest assured that the studio and the Guest Cottage have distinct entrances, and any shared walls have been thoughtfully soundproofed with double layers. We prioritize your tranquility, and previous guests have attested to the peaceful coexistence of both spaces.

While AT&T cellular service might be less reliable in this area, fret not – our super-fast fiber optic wifi has you covered. For calls, simply enable wifi calling and stay connected effortlessly. Other cell services, such as Verizon, work seamlessly.

You'll find a delightful outdoor shower and bathtub, perfect for refreshing under the open skies.

Your comfort is our priority, and we invite you to experience a blissful stay at our Guest Cottage. Enjoy a serene getaway that combines modern convenience with peaceful surroundings.
Guest access
Guest have access to the Livingroom/dining/kitchen, bedroom. the private yard and driveway. If we rent the guesthouse to one person then we give that person half the driveway and if we rent to a couple people then we give them the entire driveway. You also have access to the washer dryer and outdoor shower and bathtub.

Such a charming place!
Such a charming place! The house is decked out with wood floors and lots of nice decorative dishes to use. The garden was bursting with color. The house is situated in a very peaceful neighborhood and it is embraced by a gorgeous old oak tree. The host is friendly and attentive. A perfect stay.

We used to live in the main house and Guest house on the property for 22 years. We now live in Grass Valley CA. We live a quiet lifestyle, working, gardening, hiking, biking and traveling. we are not partiers. We spent years landscaping this property and turning it into a fenced in private compound. We love this peaceful sanctuary and often come down and stay there when it isn't rented.

Why they chose this property

I love the location. So close to all amenities yet you feel very secluded. Other than the guest house you almost can't see another house, just trees and nature and yet we are minutes to everything. We love the ocean breeze and the beautiful landscaping as well as the Hummingbirds, deer, rabbits quail

What makes this property unique

We get an ocean breeze so our temperature is cooler than most surrounding areas. The Neighbors are friendly. 45 minutes to Santa Monica by car, 55 minutes to Santa Barbara, 22 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to hiking
