Just one mile away lies the friendly seaside village of Aberporth, renowned for its two stunning sandy beaches, one of which welcomes dogs all year round. The village offers a selection of convenient amenities including a local shop, chemist, cafés, takeaway restaurants, and the popular Ship Inn overlooking the beach. This part of Cardigan Bay is famous for its resident bottlenose dolphins, often spotted from the beach or coastal path — an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

Perfectly located for exploring the beauty of West Wales, Plas y Bryn is within easy reach of many of Cardigan Bay’s most loved destinations. The idyllic village of Tresaith is just two miles away, while the historic market town of Cardigan with its restored castle, independent shops, galleries, and eateries is only six miles from the cottage. The popular seaside village of Llangrannog is also just a short scenic drive away, making this an ideal base for discovering the stunning Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire coastline.
