On a walk through the fields and woods you may encounter roe deer, game birds, waders, squirrels, pine martens, or see ospreys, peregrines and other birds of prey overhead. For fishing enthusiasts, the River Deveron offers some of the best fishing in Scotland, and permits can be purchased from FishPal. The local town of Huntley is a large Aberdeenshire town with plenty to see and do, and has a selection of shops, cafes and restaurants and is best known for its lovely, ruined castle.
On entering this elegant home, step into the conservatory which overlooks the grounds and tennis court and has a dining table where you can enjoy a family meal while planning your next adventure. Next is the enchanting lounge – full to bursting with character and charm, it is an ideal space to relax. The lounge features a traditional wood burner and Smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped, boasting lovely décor and a breakfast table. Completing the ground floor is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer, and a shower room with WC. Heading up the stairs you have three beautifully decorated bedrooms: one twin room, one king-size with an en-suite shower room, and one king-size with a Jack and Jill bathroom that boasts a wonderful roll-top bath, also accessed from the hallway.
Venturing outside to the grounds of the estate, there’s a river that passes through and a tennis court you’re welcome to use. Across the gravel driveway is a pretty area mainly laid to lawn that’s perfect for children to play and relax whilst you admire the splendid countryside scenery.
