Enter through the utility room/porch area, which is perfect for storing muddy boots and jackets. Downstairs, you’ll discover a handy shower room and a gorgeous open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with striking exposed wooden ceiling beams. This is the heart of the home, a welcoming space where you can enjoy spending relaxed, quality time together. Cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen, which has all the necessary appliances and then enjoy unhurried meals and good conversation at the adjacent wooden dining table. After a day exploring the surrounding lakes and fells, head to the lounge area where you can sink into the comfortable sofas and unwind. On cooler evenings, pop a log on the wood burner, settle in and pick your favourite family film to watch on the Smart TV. Next door, you’ll find a snug, also with a TV, so everyone can find their own space. Stone steps lead you up to the marvellous bedrooms – two king-size with countryside views and two twin rooms – meaning there is plenty of choice for you and your guests. A bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC completes the interior features of this splendid cottage.
Wander outside to enjoy your naturally split area of over 1/2 an acre of the beautiful garden shared with the neighbouring cottage .
