For history and food enthusiasts, Bakewell, home to the famous Bakewell pudding, and the magnificent Chatsworth House and Gardens are must-visit attractions (both are less than 15 miles away). Alternatively, spend the day exploring the ancient woodland and mixed habitats around Longshaw Meadow at National Trust Padley Gorge, within 10 miles.
