A lovely cottage in a good location

A spacious and reasonably well equipped cottage. Once the heating was on and it the building had warmed through it was very cosy. Lovely location, we were able to do a good walk straight from the door.

Delightful cottage and location

Cosy but spacious cottage in a stunning location. Toasty warm and very comfortable. Walk or cycle from the front door. Castleton is about a very pleasant 15min walk via bridleway. Lots of great pubs and cafes to eat and drink in.

A wonderful, cosy retreat in a great location.

Shippon cottage is beautiful. Its cosy, comfortable and nicely furnished. The bed was very comfortable. Maeve was really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the walk down a very quiet lane to the pub at Castleton and there are numerous pleasant walks directly from the cottage. Highly recommended
