Enjoying panoramic views overlooking rolling fields and Lake Windermere itself, the property has been lovingly designed with the emphasis on quality, creating a chic and spacious home from home. With lots of country and lake shore walks, cycle routes and lake cruises guests will have plenty to explore during their stay. Far Sawrey is just a short walk away where you will find a warm and welcoming pub serving a selection of good food and real ales. A little further along the road you'll find Hill Top, the former home of Beatrix Potter as well as another charming pub dating back to the 17th Century . Hawkshead village is a just a short drive away and offers a great selection of shops and places to eat out or guests can take the nearby ferry across Lake Windermere to Bowness.
The stable door leads into the useful utility room, great for walking gear and cleaning off muddy paws, here there is also a washing machine and an additional freezer. There is also a separate WC found off this room. From here you enter the very well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher with a lovely view over the lake and oak table for sharing meals together. From this room you pass through the conservatory, overlooking the lake and leading into the spacious lounge. The high ceiling, wood burner set in a traditional slate fireplace, sofas and TV/DVD combine to create the perfect place to relax with friends after a day exploring the Lakes. Off the lounge is the first king-size bedroom, this room has dual aspect windows with lake views and a traditional fireplace. A hallway leads from the lounge to the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Still on the ground floor is the second king-size bedroom with a French door leading out to a patio area overlooking the lake, this bedroom has an en-suite shower room and WC. A staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor where you will find the pretty double bedroom, also with en-suite shower room and WC.
Heading outside is a patio area with garden furniture, the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the scenery.
