The Victorian town of Hunstanton is a traditional and charming seaside resort with an entertainment centre and a long beach and promenade to walk along. With an array of pubs, cafes, and restaurants, you are spoilt for choice with places to eat and drink and as well as traditional amusements, a fun fair, crazy golf, and a sea life centre; it’s the perfect family-friendly destination. Visit other popular North Norfolk destinations such as Old Hunstanton (1.5 miles), Brancaster (8 miles), Thornham (5 miles) Wells-next-the-Sea (17 miles), and the world-famous King’s residence, Sandringham Estate (9 miles), all within easy reach. Complete with a games room and just 250 metres from the beach there is no better holiday home for a family looking to celebrate any occasion.
Enter this property via the main entrance hallway on the ground floor, this leads off to the lounge area with comfortable seating, a Smart TV, and a lovely wood burner effect gas fire, perfect for adding ambiance to any cosy night in with loved ones. There is also a cocktail bar so stock up and get creative with evening drinks. The formal dining room has enough seating for all guests to enjoy an evening meal together, and head through the archway from here to the games room with a sofa and chairs and a pool table for family fun together, there is also a Smart TV and Bluetooth Sound Bar in this room. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with everything the designated chef needs to lovingly prepare a hearty meal for the group. Completing the ground floor is the garden room with a 3 seater sofa, footstool and a table and chairs where you can enjoy the morning sun and a leisurely breakfast, plus the downstairs cloakroom with WC. Heading up the stairs, there is another separate cloakroom with WC on the half landing. Upstairs, gorgeous sea views can be enjoyed from all front-facing bedrooms, where you can watch the boats sail by. The first floor has a family bathroom and four bedrooms consisting of one double room with en- suite, one super-king double with en- suite, a twin room, and another super-king double. The second floor also has a family shower room and four bedrooms: one double with en-suite shower room, one twin with en-suite shower room, one super-king double and one zip and link super-king double, that can be arranged as a twin room; take note of the gorgeous sea views from this floor.
Outside, you have an enclosed Mediterranean-style garden patio area, which is accessed via patio doors from the garden room or the kitchen. Garden furniture has been provided for all guests to lounge around, soak up some sun, enjoy al-fresco dining. There is also an outside shower suitable for dogs and sandy beach goers.
Pinewood House is a charming period property that has evolved over time and retains many original features. This includes low door frames, low ceilings and beams, uneven floors, and multiple internal and external steps. These characteristics contribute to its unique character but may present challenges for guests with mobility or visual impairments. Furthermore, the property is fitted with traditional sash windows, and we ask that you use the window locks and child safety keys provided, and children are not left unattended in rooms where windows are open or unlocked. Guests are advised to consider these factors carefully before making a booking.
