A traditional Val d'Isère apartment across two floors in the historic old town, blending Alpine character with modern updates. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a working fireplace, and a balcony. Steps from restaurants, shops, and the lifts in the resort's original quarter.
The Space:
Set across two floors of a small building in Val d'Isère's old town, this apartment pairs traditional Alpine architecture with quietly modern updates. The entrance hallway opens to a guest WC before leading into the kitchen and dining area, where a large table with bench seating on one side and chairs on the other forms a sociable hub. The table extends to seat up to twelve when needed. The kitchen is well appointed with a washing machine, oven, microwave, large fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, and Nespresso machine.
Four distinct bedrooms offer genuine flexibility. The first, reached from the kitchen, has a 140cm double bed and an en-suite shower room with WC. The second, off the hallway, has twin beds that can be joined as a double, an en-suite bathroom with bath and heated towel rail but no WC, and a mezzanine loft above with two single beds. The stairs to this mezzanine are not suitable for young children. Upstairs, the third bedroom is a children's room with low ceilings and two single beds. The master bedroom opposite has a shower room, generous storage, and a characterful beam crossing the space. A separate WC sits in the hallway beside the master.
The living room is an open, generous space with a working fireplace and balcony access. Traditional and modern furnishings sit together comfortably, making it a natural gathering point after time on the slopes. WiFi, a SMART TV, hairdryers, and a ski locker round out the practical amenities. The apartment faces north west and has a coded entrance.
Guest Access:
Guests have the full apartment for their stay. The building entrance is secured with a coded lock, with stairs leading to the first floor.
The Neighborhood:
The apartment sits in Val d'Isère's old town, the resort's historic original quarter rather than its newer developments. Restaurants, shops, and the ski lifts are all within a short walk. This is a part of the resort that rarely appears on the rental market, offering the character of traditional Alpine architecture alongside the convenience of being in the heart of things.
Getting Around:
The free resort shuttle bus runs every 10 to 15 minutes during the day and every 20 to 30 minutes until 2am, connecting the old town to the wider resort and lifts. Being in the old town itself, the town centre and its amenities are immediately on your doorstep. For travel to Val d'Isère, airport transfers operate from Geneva, Lyon, and Chambéry.
Other Things to Note:
We are available throughout the stay if anything comes up. The stairs to the mezzanine level in the second bedroom are not suitable for young children. A ski locker is provided for the apartment.
