Welcome to Eagle Cove, a spacious waterfront retreat tucked inside a private, gated community on the Tulalip Bay shoreline of Marysville, Washington. Just 40 miles north of Seattle and 65 miles south of the Canadian border, Eagle Cove makes the perfect home base for exploring the Pacific Northwest — and unlike many destinations, you’ll never need to wait for a ferry.
The setting is pure Pacific Northwest: west-facing views of Camano Island, Hat Island, and Possession Sound; quiet forest surroundings; and a wide, walkable beach that feels almost private. Whether you’re planning a family reunion, a corporate retreat, a wellness getaway, or a milestone celebration, Eagle Cove was designed to bring people together. It’s a home where guests return year after year to relax, recharge, and reconnect.
The Space
With seven bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and space for up to 20 guests, Eagle Cove has room for everyone. The home opens to a family room where double french doors frame sweeping water views. A cozy fireplace, oversized sectional, and even a piano set the stage for evenings by the fire or impromptu singalongs.
The chef’s kitchen at Eagle Cove is designed for entertaining, with double ovens, a gas cooktop, and two dishwashers that make cooking for a crowd effortless. From the main sink, you can look out across the Puget Sound — a view that makes even cleanup feel like part of the experience. On the opposite wall, a beverage bar includes its own sink, refrigerator, and wine fridge, while an additional fridge in the laundry room ensures plenty of space for large groups. Meals come together easily here, whether you’re gathering around the expansive dining table, settling into the breakfast nook or kitchen bars, or enjoying the two large backyard tables set near the firepit for evenings under the stars.
Outdoor Living
Step outside and the shoreline becomes your front yard. Soak in the six-person hot tub while the tide shifts below, roast marshmallows around the firepit, or lounge on furnished decks as the sun sets behind Camano Island. A large grassy yard is perfect for children or lawn games like croquet, corn hole, or bocce ball. Wildlife is part of the daily rhythm here — bald eagles soar overhead, herons patrol the shallows, and otters slip past the rocks. In spring and fall, you may even catch sight of migrating gray whales or the spontaneous visiting orcas and porpoises.
Bedroom Layout
The main-level primary suite offers a fireplace, en-suite bath, and deck access — ideal for guests with mobility needs. Upstairs, a second primary suite features its own private deck, fireplace, jetted tub, and en-suite bath. Four additional bedrooms and two bathrooms complete the upper floor. On the lower level, you’ll find a queen bedroom with a TV and private exterior entrance, plus a bunk room that sleeps six. This bunk room also includes a sectional, big screen TV lounge, and a puzzle/game table, making it a favorite living space for kids and teens.
Perfect for Every Occasion
Since 2007, Eagle Cove has hosted everything from family reunions and milestone birthdays to quilting retreats, corporate off-sites, and small weddings. With its combination of expansive gathering areas and intimate corners, the home adapts beautifully to both large celebrations and quiet escapes.
Why Eagle Cove is Unique
Many large rentals offer either space or scenery — Eagle Cove offers both. Guests can walk for miles along the sandy, shallow shoreline, safe for children yet brimming with wildlife. Indoors, you’ll find fireplaces, reading nooks, and gathering spaces designed for connection. The blend of west-facing sunsets, abundant wildlife, and a home that truly accommodates 20 guests makes Eagle Cove a one-of-a-kind destination in Puget Sound.

We had a wonderful weekend with friends and kids. The beach was lovely. The bedrooms are all large and comfortable. The backyard firepit was perfect for s'mores.
Water view, forest, beach surrounds this spacious and comfortable home. It was perfect for a family reunion- providing the opportunity for rest, celebration and enjoyment of nature. Day trips to do white water rafting, sailing and hiking were within reasonable distances. The kitchen was perfect for cooking for a large group.
Pack your own shampoo and soap unless you want to use hand soap in the shower. Beautiful views at the end of a quiet street. The kitchen and dining spaces are larger than they look in the photos and accommodated our extended family of 27 for evening meals. Nice outdoor seating spaces and perfect weather made our family reunion very enjoyable.
It is difficult to put this in one paragraph but the house suited us perfectly and the location could not have been better. Seventeen of us and not a complaint.
My group and I had a amazing time. Absolutely wonderful home, hosts were extremely responsive, and the dog on the property was so sweet! Would definitely stay again.
House was great for large groups --- # of rooms and bathroom, all the kitchen equipment, lots of dishes/silverware, and TWO dishwashers. Great place with a great view --- we even saw whales from the window
The house is nice and clean and also has plenty of spaces for our family, there are beautiful views in every room, especially the kitchen. We enjoyed our stay.
We had a great weekend away at the property. The house is large and the kitchen is well-stocked, so there was plenty of room for our group of 10 (honestly, we probably could have fit twice that). The view was lovely!
House was great, spacious, clean and comfortable. The view was amazing, perfect for sunset. The kitchen was the best outfitted kitchen we have seen in all of our VRBO adventures. We really enjoyed the secluded road and beach. Plenty of parking as well.
With grown kids living across the country it was great to be all together and enjoy the variety of seating areas as well as many private rooms. Beautiful with a kitchen to fit all your needs!
Modern, huge house with ocean front view & direct beach access
The house and the view are spectacular! We really enjoyed our stay, the access to the beach, and everyone, especially the kids love the dog. Good for family and friends gathering! Thanks for sharing your beautiful house and hope we can return.
The property was as advertised and we had a great family get together after Xmas with about 12 adults. The bedrooms were all great and slept all the couples comfortably. The nice large kitchen and eating area allowed us to all gather and play games together. The weather cooperated and we loved taking walks on the beach. Great time, great location.

About the host
Hosted by Jeff Webb
Eagle Cove is family-owned and operated, and we’ve been welcoming guests to our home for over 20 years. As lifelong Washington locals, we love sharing the beauty of Puget Sound and the memories our family has made here. Hosting isn’t just about providing a place to stay — it’s about opening our doors so your family, friends, or group can experience the same sense of connection and Pacific Northwest wonder that keeps us here.
Why they chose this property
We chose Eagle Cove for its perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. Tucked at the end of a quiet, gated community and bordered by forest, the property feels like its own world — yet it’s just 40 miles from Seattle. From the deck, you’ll enjoy sweeping Puget Sound and Island views with afternoon sun, while the beach below is safe and fun for kids. Guests love walking for miles along the shore, crabbing, fishing, and clamming, or simply swimming and boating right out front. It’s a rare spot where nature and comfort meet.
What makes this property unique
What sets Eagle Cove apart is the way it combines incredible natural beauty with a home designed for gathering. From your deck, you can watch seals, otters, and bald eagles, and in spring even spot whales in the Sound. The nearly private beach stretches for miles, perfect for clamming, crabbing, and beachcombing. Back at the house, you’ll find space for everyone — 7 bedrooms, cozy fireplaces, a hot tub with sweeping views, and plenty of room for kids to play in the yard. Whether you’re relaxing by the firepit, enjoying a family meal, or exploring the shoreline, Eagle Cove offers an experience you won’t find anywhere else.
