About this property

1 Bed in Forfar (oc-t34622)

Trade the everyday rush for wild countryside and fresh coastal air at this charming Angus hideaway. Though wonderfully secluded, it sits among some of the region’s most inviting adventures. Wander the rolling Angus Glens (9 miles), and with ten Munros to explore, hikers, hill walkers and nature lovers will be delighted. Kirriemuir and Forfar Golf Courses are both within 11 miles and offer scenic views of the Glens, too. Couples will love a slow morning at Glamis Castle (15 miles), strolling its grand gardens before driving to Lunan Bay (24 miles) for a windswept beach walk. If you have the kids with you, they’re sure to love playing pirates at Peter Pan Park (5.5 miles).

It may be compact, but this cosy, wood-clad cabin has a ton of personality. After exploring the surrounding trails, step up and inside this well-appointed open-plan cabin to natural light and seamless studio-style design. The kitchen, located on the right, boasts ample equipment and cupboard space for your bought produce. Once your meal is prepared, sit at the breakfast bar beside the French doors and dine upon the stunning views. When the sun goes down, relax on the convertible L-shaped seating and watch TV. The sofa can be converted into a double sofa bed for two children if required. The double bed sits at the back of the lodge, as does the shower room with WC.

The cabin has a private garden with a wood-fired hot tub that immerses you in the surrounding countryside. Enjoy dining alfresco whilst perched at the outdoor furniture or using the BBQ. Enjoy stargazing under the unspoiled night skies. Parking is private and boasts two spots.
