With a private walkway directly to the beach, beautiful ocean views, and a convenient location near the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, you’ll have everything you need for the perfect coastal vacation.

GREAT LOCATION
Leave the car parked and enjoy exploring Carolina Beach! Mermaid’s Retreat is approximately a 5–10 minute walk to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and about a 15–20 minute walk to the Carolina Beach Pier, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and local favorites nearby.
PET FRIENDLY
We’re happy to welcome well-behaved dogs with prior approval. Please message us before booking if you plan to bring a pet.
• Maximum of 2 dogs
• Dogs must be under 50 lbs.
• $125 non-refundable pet fee for 1 dog
• $200 non-refundable pet fee for 2 dogs
• Dogs must be house trained
• Dogs must be crated when left alone in the condo
• Please keep pets off the furniture

You are just steps from the beach where you have two walkway accesses over the dunes and to the sand. The oceanfront porch was nice and view was great! The condo had all necessities and even chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for your use. Easy to wash off items and yourself right at the driveway when coming back in. We really felt at home as there were items in the condo if by chance you forgot to bring something. Host was prompt to communicate and accessible. We would definitely stay here again as the location was within walking distance from the boardwalk and local restaurants. If you have the opportunity to bring a bike I would recommend as not to have to pay for parking near the shops and pavilion. Very relaxing and safe location!

Check-in was very convenient and easy. The day before check in we received a message laying out all the important information about the condo. Once entering the room with a spectacular view we headed straight to the beach! The pool could use some updating and maintenance done. The fan provided in the main bedroom was amazing as well as all the ceiling fans.( the ceiling fans could definitely be cleaned). Overall an amazing experience!
