The Hunter's Lodge 2 bed 1 Bath 5 Mins from Down Town PRIVATE & Fully Loaded

Located on one of the Hill Country's most scenic roads for cycling and walking is the well known Hunters Lodge. This is the first of 4 of Amelia's Casitas and comes with so much to offer! This Casita has 2 bedrooms one bath with a spacious walk in shower, an additional full size sleeper sofa and a fully stocked kitchen. We also provide a coffee bar set up ready to enjoy on the house. This casita comes OVERSTOCKED with fresh towels/toiletries and water for our guest. We also provide a 42" smart TV that is logged in and ready to play your favorite shows on Netflix. LETS TALK VIEWS! There are two charcoal bbq grills and a large fire pit (ready to go) for our guest to enjoy their favorite bottle of wine under the hill country stars. Our guests can enjoy country living only 5 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg! Here at Amelia's Casitas we are pet friendly upon approval, but we do require a additional $30.00 fee for our maids to completely DEEP clean and deodorize everything. We also require all pets to be on a leash and the pet owner must clean up any and all waste. If at anytime our guest have questions or need recommendations feel free to email or text Leo.
Here are some of our house rules we expect all guest to follow.

~First and for most we hope you will respect our home as if it were your own~

~please leave all dirty towels in the shower so our maids can have easy access~

~do not worry about making up slept in beds, its a kind gesture but our maids will remove everything to wash~

~after 10pm we ask that loud music be kept to a minimum, be considerate of our neighboring casitas~

~we ask that our guest to please wash any dirty dishes and leave them in the drying rack~

~There are 2 bbq grills that are first come first serve so please clean up after you are done so that our other guest can also enjoy it~

~smoking is ok OUTSIDE, please do not smoke inside the casita. We have provided sand buckets for cigarette butts~

We had a good time anyway

The house is super cute! We didn’t have any major issues. One thing, the “futon” is actually just a couch (not a pull out) and not easy for two people to sleep on. The house says sleeps 6. Thankfully there was an air mattress that we were able to put our kids on. Another thing is the beds are REALLY hard, so if you don’t like hard mattresses, I wouldn’t recommend. Also, we didn’t get all the necessary information for the property, like WiFi info or check out instructions…usually there is a “welcome book” with all essential information. Even though there were a few things we had issues with, we had a great weekend!!

Moms 11th HeavenlyAnniversary

The Hunter House was just what we were needing for our ladies yearly get together. We had plenty of space for 5 to sleep, hang out, play vintage Jacks, jumbo uno and drink. Owners came by and dropped us off more towels and an extra bed without us even us asking it because wanted to make sure we were comfortable. Definitely recommend and plan to come back again.

Our only regret

Our only regret is we didn’t get to stay longer. We had to cut our trip short by a day. This place is beautiful! There are deer that come out in the evening and the sun rise and sunsets are beautiful. There’s everything you need in the cabin, the only thing you need to bring is food and your personal items. Town is close if you do need anything.

Beautiful!

Great drive down a country road to get to the property. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for us and our 2 large dogs! Loved seeing all the deer and turkeys roaming around. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent Escape

My husband, puppy, 13 month old and I really enjoyed our stay. It was extremely clean, quiet, and stocked with everything we needed. All we had to do is bring food/seasonings. It’s only a 10 minute drive to Main Street and my son loved seeing all of the deer on the property next door. The owners were very responsive and extremely thoughtful. We will definitely stay again.

Cute cabins

Cabin was super clean and comfy. Kitchen had all you needed for cooking. Outside grounds were well kept! I definitely recommend this place and give it a 5 star review for anyone looking for rest and relaxation.

We were pleased with the house, had pretty much everything we needed our stay. We did take advantage of the pretty weather and did some grilling. Location is good not too far away from towns. My favorite thing was having coffee on the patio watching the deer play! Would definitely return.

Why they chose this property

This property was just beautiful! When the owners first saw it they knew they had to scoop it up and fast if they wanted to start a business here at Amelia's Casitas. The family fell in love with the gorgeous country setting and being ONLY 5 minutes from town was a great selling point. Because who wants to drive 30 minutes out to enjoy some pease and quiet? We love all the wild life and views down Louden Rd.

This Unit is great for those who love the great outdoors. Sip your wine and enjoy the gorgeous sunset right off the front porch, or roast some s'mores with the family at the fire pit. Don't forget to bring some steaks or BBQ to grill up on one of our 3 grills.
