Apartment on a cliff on the sea front, with a large sunny terrace of 60m2 all day with outdoor seating and dining area and water point, fully equipped kitchen with opening in the dining / living room.
Quiet, including household (please leave the apartment clean)
Family person on site when needed fluent in French
20 km from the airport, apartment easily accessible by car, public transport 20m, location 'Centromar the most south of the island.

At the foot of the apartment, natural swimming pool with sea access, traditional fish restaurant locally caught 'Doca do Cavacas' for over 40 years. Nice walk on foot at night or during the day (car) in Lido seafront in Camara de Lobos typical town lively nightlife fisherman. Hiking nearby Botanical Garden, cable car, the capital of the island Funchal 2. 5km with its seaport, boat trip (whale, turtle, dolphin) catamaran or caravel.
Excursion in mountain jeep 'Safari' and many other activities yet to be discovered

Nice location

The location was good. The “visible”areas were clean but there was significant dust and debris under the kitchen cabinets, behind doors etc. It’s timely for some things to be replaced as their wear and age are quite evident. The host was responsive and pleasant to work with for issues we encountered.

Es un apartamento muy confortable y con una excelente ubicación. Esta cerca del centro comercial Forum Madeira y a 3 minutos andando tienes las piscinas naturales y la praia Formosa. Todo estaba muy limpio.

Location plaisante, bien située même si à l'arrivée la bouteille de madère n'était pas sur la table.

Points positifs: Bonne situation avec commerces à proximité. Belle terrasse agréable pour prendre l'apéro. Pièces spacieuses. Cuisine bien équipée. Wifi. Points négatifs: Ensemble de la location qui demanderait des petits travaux de rénovation. Petite réserve d'eau chaude (ballon de 30 litres). Taie d'oreiller et housse de couette tachées. Machine à laver pleine à notre arrivée (serpillères et chiffons de la femme de ménage). Manque d'accueil, pas de français, aucun contact durant nos deux semaines de séjour, clés dans la boite aux lettres pour le départ. Aucun état des lieux (entrant comme sortant). Enfin gros désagréments avec les chiens qui aboient et les chats qui miaulent sur la terrasse de jour comme de nuit.

Madame, Je voulais juste ajouter a votre avis mentionné plus haut. Qu'il s'agit d'un logement chez l'habitant et non un hôtel *****. Le standing est de ce fait local comme son prix (l'essentiel étant un logement propre et identique aux images visualisées sur le site) les chiens, les chats ainsi que le bruit des vagues de la mer sur les galets et le chant très présent des oiseaux que vous avez oublié de mentionner font partie du cadre. Il s'agit de la nature heureusement encore présente sur l'île. Pourvu que ça dure!!! car le bruit des voitures ou de fêtes nocturnes sont à mon sens bien plus gênant et moins authentiques. Navré du désagrément que cela vous a occasionné.

Super séjour !

Merci encore pour cet accueil chaleureux où nous avons été accueillis par Nathalie (femme de Hugo) et sa maman dès notre arrivée. Nous avons passé 3 semaines fortes agréables . Nous avons vécu à l'extérieur plus particulièrement grâce à cette merveilleuse terrasse avec vue sur l'océan. Idéal et calme car excentré de Funchal avec bus qui nous permettait d'être rapidement au centre de Funchal.Plage en face à vol d'oiseaux accessible à pied. Egalement grandes surfaces et magasins (le Forum) à deux pas du logement . Logement très propre, agencé comme sur les photos où nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous avec un réel plaisir d'arroser les plantes chaque soir comme dans son jardin.Nous avons adoré et avons l'intention d'y retourner.Nous le recommandons et remercions Hugo et sa famille pour leurs disponibilités. Séjour agréable.

Appartement situé à 4 KMS du centre de FUNCHAL à proximité d'un arrêt de bus , de l'hôtel GOLDEN et d'une promenade sur le bord de mer. Petite surface commerciale et restaurants proches. Nous ne pouvons que déplorer l'absence de parking, le vis à vis , les aboiements des chiens des voisins, la panne du lave vaisselle(qui devrait être remplacer prochainement). D'autre part, nous étions venus sur l'Ile pour randonner et il est dommage que les sentiers soient mal balisés. Ile fleurie et très touristique. A part cela, nous recommandons le poisson et les fruits qui sont peu chers et divers.A ne pas manquer, la visite du marché le VENDREDI où un maximum de commerçants sont présents.(beaucoup de couleurs!)Séjour agréable dans son ensemble.

GREAT APARTMENT

The apartment and the location are great! Large terrace, wiev to the sea, nice and well equipped kitchen. The blender for making smoothies and the orange juice machine were my favorites! The house is located really close to Praia Formosa (beach) and if you go to the other end of the beach there is even a small sandy beach (our children really liked it). The nearby sea water swimming pool area was closed in December. The beach promenade towards the centrum begins from 300 metres from the apartment. And the bus 02 (to the centrum) stops almost in front of the house. If you instead want to take bus 48 to Monte or 01 to centrum, you just climb the stairs up to the bigger street. And there you can also see Forum, a very nice shopping centre. For my family the location was perfect. Wifi was working without problems. Keeping in contact with Hugo was incredibly easy and he was ready to answer our questions 24/7.
