From there you can hike less than a mile along the CNO canal to the Harpers Ferry footbridge where cafés and pubs await you. One block to Guide House Grill restaurant and River &Trail Outfitters for tubing and rafting. Or walk across the bridge to Harpers Ferry Adventure Center for rafting, tubing, zip lines and micro brewery

We loved this house! The location is absolutely amazing - we loved having our morning coffee on the porch (we had our pick of three porches!) overlooking the river. We were so close to Harper's Ferry, which was incredibly convenient, but we liked being in a quiet neighborhood. All the bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The living spaces were well decorated and cozy. Check in and check out were smooth, and Michael communicated quickly and efficiently. The driveway was difficult to navigate with a few cars, but Michael had mentioned that prior to booking and we knew how to handle it before we arrived. We had a great trip and we hope to stay here again in the future!

From the very beginning in making the reservation, communication with Michael was seamless. He was very responsive and accommodating. The property exceeded our expectations, both with respect to location and condition. While we were there, an unexpected storm arose, which caused a downed tree to block the driveway. We contacted Michael, who immediately took care of the issue. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend!

The house has a spectacular view, was clean, and has everything we needed. Great layout with balcony and bathrooms on every floor. Our host always responded immediately and was very friendly. Wonderful house, with porches overlooking the river, adjacent to the Tow Path walking and biking trail, and within walking distance of Harpers Ferry. Kitchen was well stocked, house was very clean, and bedrooms worked well for our 4 couples (with one bedroom to spare). Michael was always very quick to respond to any questions or issues we raised, and he provided useful info about the area and things to do. Driveway would be tight for 4 cars, as Michael had forewarned us (we had just 3 cars), and backing onto the street when leaving was a bit challenging. (We positioned a person at street-side to watch for any oncoming traffic.)

We live just minutes from Great Falls, with world class kayaking and ferocious rapids. When we are not enjoying city life in our Nation's Capitol, we relax at our mountain retreat an hour away in Boonsboro, MD.
