Very clean and well equipped with everything you need. Not too far from the main hustle and bustle but yet far enough away to enjoy some time to yourself by the bay.

Thank you Bonnie! You were a pleasure and left the place immaculate.
I found our stay was very enjoyable. Nice place away from the busy beach but accessable within 25 min . Great communication with host . Overall wonderful!wonn
We loved our accomodations and location. The place was beautiful and well equipped. The kids Rollerbladed around the community and everyone was very nice. The host was wonderful. I would highly recommend this vrbo property
A very comfortable and quiet place, perfect for a family with kids. The cabin has everything you need for a trouble-free stay, with a lovely decoration and located in a very nice area, with easy access to the beach. The owner was so kind with us and she was attentive to any need. Totally recommended.
Beautiful, relaxing environment with activities all close by!
I enjoyed my stay immensely with such a relaxing undertone! Just what I wanted! Crabbing within 3 minutes of house and yes we caught crabs and ate them! A beautiful community pool to go to and beaches within reasonable driving distance! The house is beautiful, clean and the hostess very gracious! I definitely would be a repeat customer!

The house was very cute and lots of room for my family of 4. Rhe neighbors was qiuet and Everyone was very nce. The queen bed is not the most comfortable and makes lots of noise when you roll over or move.

I regret that you didn’t find that particular bed comfortable esp. since that mattress, and this in the twins are new. I hadn’t reviewed you, to be kind, but am compelled to respond that your party was not respectful of my home, leaving clothes on upstairs floor, fishing line and sporting goods strewn all over the downstairs and trash everywhere.
Further, you did not follow other house rules, lost a pool pass, did not so much as apologize for this or the condition in which you left my home.

Charming home with easy access to local hotspots
This home was charming, relaxing, and just what our little family of 4 needed during our mini getaway. The homeowner (Cheryl) displayed wonderful hospitality by leaving some goodies for us and making sure her home was well-prepared for our stay. She also kept in touch with us as needed to answer questions. The community pool, short walk to the bay, and locality to the Rehoboth boardwalk as well as to our family’s homes made our vacation complete.(We found out we were just 5 minutes up the road from my cousin’s home and 10 minutes from my uncle’s condo!) We will be back again!

Not only were Laura and her family flexible, responsible and communicative guests, they also left the home in great shape. Further, their 7 year old made me a coloring with the sweetest thank you message on it that I could ever hope to see. It will remain on the fridge there in eternity!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was as cozy and clean as listed. It's located in a quiet, peaceful private community just a short drive to all the Delaware beaches. We spent most of our time lounging in the house until afternoon, heading to the beaches until nightfall, and returning home again to shower, eat, and reeeelax. The Angola By the Bay community has great features like pool, playground, crabbing piers etc, but to be honest we spent most of our time at the beaches beyond. Cheryl was an amazing and responsive host. I thought she went out of her way to provide a fresh boogie board when we found out the one on property was busted, and our kid had a freaking blast at the beach after that. Recommend!!! Thanks for everything, Cheryl.

Thanks so much for the heartwarming review and for being a great guest! Come back anytime.
The house A/C would get up to and over 84 degrees or more during the day, and wouldn't come down until evening. Very hot and uncomfortable. Ants were bad, even though we cleaned thoroughly. Had tree trimmings all over the place. Only one working TV, and internet was not good at all.

I was hoping that this tenant would not leave a review actually, especially in light of my leaving a generous one for her. Instead she was ungrateful and rude - and this after I made a special accommodation to allow more payment increments than usual because she stated that she could not afford it otherwise.
In return for my kindness, she was, first, rude to a contractor who had to cut a branch outside in the yard even though I alerted her twice when he would be there for the short time. Second, my ad stated, and I separately told her, internet would be spotty. Third, I left out bug spray and warned her that ants were especially bad this summer and to avoid crumbs. Finally, the AC works fine - I’ve never had a complaint. If she did not know how to use it, she should have asked. As I told her, I was local if she had any questions or needs. Fourth, she lied about the number of people staying there in an attempt to avoid paying the extra guest fee. Finally, she took all of my Tupperware with her when she left. This review is clearly an outlier.
No good deed goes unpunished I guess. 😀
Gated, private neighborhood; quiet and peaceful surroundings
Roomy, rustic beach house close to marina with comfortable beds and quick access to beaches and route 1. Quiet neighbors and great deck for lounging. Kids had a fun time crabbing on the pier close by and riding their bikes all over the neighborhood.

Thanks Alethea - glad you had fun! You were certainly a very memorable guest also!
We had a very enjoyable visit with the grandkids, with board games available and the pool to cool off in. Rehoboth was a big seller for the teens but too far away from the house for them. We loved the neighborhood, tho, and the trails all around-but not the mosquitos!

Many thanks, but you didn’t like the mosquitos? It’s the best part! 😂I certainly hope you availed yourself to all the insect repellant we left out! Thanks for the kind review.
We are SO glad we decided to stay here as our first HomeAway/VRBO stay! We couldn't have asked for anything more! This home was the perfect size, with the perfect setup in a perfect location for our first family vacation! (I just adopted 2 boys!) We were within a few minutes from a grocery store, and just a few more minutes beyond that led us to beaches and other attractions. Within the community there are docks (easily within walking distance), a playground and a pool (again, easily within walking distance via trail). The neighborhood is very friendly with nothing but an abundance of "good morning" and "hello" friendliness. Everyone was very pleasant!
Speaking of friendliness... I cannot say enough about the communication and the genuine friendliness of the owners! They were and absolute delight to get the opportunity to know. Right from the start I felt like I had known them forever... almost like we were family. We were eagerly informed of all the amenities and attractions that were available to us right from the start, Any questions I had were answered virtually immediately. They also treated my new little guys and us to an awesome experience that they'll never forget! I can't say enough about them on here, but I will say that we are definitely looking forward to staying at this residence again sometime (hopefully sooner than later!)
The home is nicely equipped for 4 or more and made us feel like we've been there forever... it's hard to explain, but it just sits well and feels like "home", not a house.
I highly recommend staying here if you want a good, clean, relaxing, home-like vacation that has everything you need in one place and the immediate surrounding area. It's truly like a Home Away from Home!

Great gated community, close to beaches!
Really enjoyed our stay here! Adorable cabin in a really nice gated community. Easy access in and out of the community. Close to all the major beaches in the area. Loved that all sheets and towels were taken care of! Cheryl left a great little goodie basket for us and the house was very lovely!

Great place for a family
Plenty of room for a family of four. Having 2 bathrooms with showers was great with 4 people. The pool was huge and fun. My younger son loved the playground. Kayaking on the bay was nice too. Great place to walk or bike in the community. We will bring bikes next time. I loved sitting on the swings by the bay. It was about a 20 min drive to Cape Henelope state park. We spent all of our beach time there. Everything is close by but the place gives a feeling of seclusion from the beach busyness. It was very homey and we all referred to the place as home while there.

Cute cottage in super quiet/friendly neighborhood.
My husband and I enjoyed our long weekend stay at Cheryl's beach house. She's a great hostess--responds within minutes and very easy to work with. She spoils you by supplying all your linens, towels, paper products and coffee--which you usually have to pay extra for/provide yourself. Definitely recommend this house if you're looking for something out of the way; it's a 6-10 mile drive to the beach which can take 20-30 minutes, depending on Route 1 traffic.

House was clean, comforting, and quiet
On a trip with 4 people, me and 3 of my female friends, we decided to stay in Lewes to avoid the hustle of Rehoboth. the house was everything we had expected and more! Despite a minor creaky bed, we have no complaints! the house felt like a home, which was relaxing, and it was very sanitary. we wouldn't have even been able to tell anyone had stayed there before us! it was close enough to the beach, has a very nice community pool, and the owner left us a very sweet welcome basket when we got in. she was quick to respond, and was very willing to work with us, even with us being under 21! I would reccomend this home to anyone looking to stay in the area for a vacation :)

We loved the house and the owner Cheryl is very easy to work with.
Place was very nice and quiet. Super easy to get to and close enough to eveything but far away enough to not feel like you were in the city. Owner is very responsive and very easy to work with. Had a great time staying there. Thanks.

Nice, Clean, Spacious Place to Stay
My friends and I stayed here for the weekend. There were 6 of us and we all had our own bed. The only thing a few of us didn't like is the mattresses on at least a few of the beds weren't very comfortable and at least one bed (the one I slept in) was very noisy. The floor in the loft also squeaked so the person sleeping on the first floor under us could hear every time one of us in the loft walked around (like to go to the bathroom). It wasn't that big of a deal as we just tried to not move around much. The place was very clean and spacious. It was great that there were two bathrooms, one downstairs and one up in the loft. The owner always got back to me very quickly whenever I had a question and I really appreciated that!

I appreciate the overall good and honest review. Nothing can be done about the loft floor I'm afraid. And wooden sleigh beds can be creaky due to their wood construction. That being said, your candor about the mattresses is appreciated and perhaps a couple of the twins are due for new plush Hilton type mattresses! Thanks again Tammy for being a great guest - I rated you 5 stars!

Your host
I love travelling too! Exploring, adventure and having fun with friends and family are prioroties. My government/legal work is impactful, sometimes, but just a means to an end - to enjoy, engage and embrace. The beach is my happy place and this cottage is my gate to relaxation and fun. Indoors and out - its a wonderful spot.
Why they chose this property
Set up for relaxation and chilling inside and out. DISH TV and comfy plentiful seating, island in the middle of the main room and great deck in front. Trails, paths for walking and biking . Steps from water. in season huge pool/snackbar... and that's before you leave the neighborhood to go to the pool or outlets! Casual and inviting, and all amenities you'd need!
What makes this property unique
All waterfront is community owned! Have at it! Strolling the waterfront with the public swings/tables/docks never gets old. Go kayaking, crabbing, or take the short walk back to the cottage. Its one of the closest to the water. Avail yourself to the huge pool during the summer or use the snackbar there, pickleball and tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball and playground.
