Experience one of the largest log cabins available to rent on Orcas! The views, the landscape, the surroundings, the peacefulness is nothing that the pictures can capture. You have to experience the cabin in person to appreciate the serenity and abundance of amenities. If you're into cooking and baking, the kitchen is well stocked, this is the place! Like the great Warren Miller said, "If you don't come up this year, you'll be 1 year older when you do.."

Overall our stay was very nice. The view was beautiful and very peaceful. The Kitchen was the most well stocked kitchen we have ever used at a VRBO. The hot tub was very clean and had a nice view. The beds and bedding were all very comfortable. Everyone in our family slept very well. It would be nice to have an option of more lighting because the rooms could get very dark and also a smaller table to play cards would be nice. Those would be my only two suggestions. Would definitely recommend this house.

Wonderful house with a beautiful view in a peaceful hillside location. Very clean, well stocked kitchen with many appliances, and great amenities. Pool table, video game machines, karaoke machine, and hot tub were lots of fun. We didn’t get a chance to use the theater but would love to go back. Host was super responsive. What a perfect place to relax and reconnect! We loved staying at Timber Lodge on so many levels. The home was large, well equipped and had a gorgeous view. We were five women and we each had our own bedroom and the common area was comfortable and relaxing. The home was just minutes away from Eastsound and the Orcas Winery. The theater room was great fun!

A beautiful setting, looking out on the water and mountains. The home was perfect for the 3 couples, all having king beds & bathrooms. The deck was so peaceful, looking out at the extraordinary scenery.

Awesome vacation. Location is so close to state parks and numerous hiking trails. Views from the rear deck are spectacular. The cabin was very well equipped with everything you could possibly think of or ever need is there. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen we have ever seen. This was a great vacation in a beautiful cabin.

A great stay!

We rented this place for my 50th birthday. We wanted something for a few friends to get together and spend a weekend. This place worked perfect! The place has alot of amenities and plenty to do. The bedrooms are all good size and there are plenty of bathrooms. All in all we had a great time and definitely would recommend. We will be back.

Three nights was not enough time to enjoy all the features of this home, but we did our best! Hot tub, movie room, pub room with pool table, dart board, karaoke machine, player piano, lovely deck with water view, giant outdoor chess, kitchen with every appliance known to man (and some I had never heard of) …the list goes on. Plenty of sleeping spaces for a large party. Outdoor teepee is fun but a bit damp and moldy in rainy season. Would love to come back and stay for longer.

Paradise!

We stay in multiple vacation rentals every year, and this home had the best and most plentiful amenities of any we have stayed in. The view is spectacular and the deck is a wonderful way to enjoy East Sound and the beautiful sunsets. Our pre-teens enjoyed the pool table and old-school Atari machine, and our three year-old appreciated the games and toys. We loved the home theater - what a treat! Proximity to Moran State Park made hiking and kayaking at Cascade Lake a breeze. We appreciated having two sets of laundry machines, plentiful housewares like towels and soap, and a very well-stocked kitchen. We loved every minute at this special home.

Relaxing on Orcas

Location and house was great. We discovered dishwasher didn't work when we arrived, , WiFi didn't work after Tuesday, and vaccumm hose was severed so it didn't work. Otherwise house was well stocked. Tried to send message to Bianca but email listed didn't work so called her about dishwasher on monday. And daughter left a message about WiFi but never heard back.

Perfect House in Orcas for Families!

I cannot recommend this house enough! We had 2 families (9 peple total) stay there and it was the perfect spot. The House: There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space while also enjoy the privacy of their own bedrooms. It was an extremely well equipped kitchen/pantry with every appliance you could even need and was perfectly organized. Also had 2 washers and 2 dryers which was amazing for 2 families. The house is also absolutley perfect for kids. It has a jacuzzi, theater, lots of board games and a pub that includes a billards table, darts, video games, and karaoke. The kids were entertained the entire time which allowed the adults to enjoy time sitting on the massive back deck with a stunning view of the water. Location: The location could not be better, a less than 10 minute drive downtown or the other direction to Moran State Park and Cascade Lake for swimming, hiking, kayaking and paddleboarding. Overall: Overall I highly recommend this house and will definitely be renting it again for our next Orcas vacation!

The photos do not do this house justice. They cannot convey the peace that you feel, sitting on the deck in the early morning, surrounded by the evergreen's and in the evening watching the never ending color show, as the sun set. It was the most stocked kitchen of all the rentals we’ve been in, in over 10 years! My grandsons loved the video games, outdoor chess game, pool table and the home theater! Orcas Island is beautiful! We kayaked and jumped off of the bridge in Moran State Park, had ice cream while sitting in the shade by the lake with our 5 month old granddaughter, and soaked in the 360 view on Mt. Constitution. The whale watching trip was worth it, even if we hadn’t seen the whales. Seeing the San Juan Islands from the boat, was the perfect way to spend a gorgeous day! The little town of East Sound, overflows with flowers and charm. The property manager was amazing! He answered our texts immediately! The nine of us, ages 67- 5 months, will absolutely be back!

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, grew up on 20 acres in Arlington. I absolutely love the variety of the outdoors here and have never thought of leaving. I have a teenage son that loves going to the lodge, I'm glad he'll have the lasting memories of such a great place.

Why they chose this property

As a child, every year since I was about 10, I used to camp at Moran State Park. Eventually becoming a CIT to help with the kids. My older sister was airlifted once from the camp when she broke her collar bone playing "Red Rover, Red Rover." I'm pretty sure she's the reason that game no longer exists! My son and I absolutely love going to the lodge. We want you to enjoy it as much as we do and are thrilled to share this very special place.
