The Orchard at Lovers Lane and Enchanted Forest. Hot Tub, Pets Welcome

Come slip away to our Orchard on beautiful Orcas Island. On an acre and a half of land you will find various apples, pears, cherries, plums and blueberries (based on the season). An oversized yard for playing sports, family games or maybe simply watching the local deer roam around or the gaze at the beautiful stars at night.
The home features 3 bedrooms plus an additional Bonus room that features a king size bed, a small living area and office area with a desk, chair and printer. There are 2.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, formal dining area, kitchen and living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace that will warm the entire 2100 square foot home. There is plenty of room for everyone.
If you prefer to be outside, come soak in the 6-person hot tub. We keep it in pristine condition and heated all year round. Once you're done soaking stay nice and warm around the firepit with a nice cacao or glass of wine and breathe in the clean Orcas air.
There are so many exciting things to do! Just a short walk into our little Hallmark village you'll find astonishing chefs curating mouthwatering dishes, local artists composing jewelry and paintings, Bakers and gift shops. There is a grocery store and a co-op and during the first week of May till the last weekend in September in the village green (the heart of Eastsound you'll find our farmers Market. Don't forget to book a tour for whale watching, kayaking or perhaps your favorite book

We loved this house and the surrounding yard! The home was a comfortable space for 6 adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. The home is a short walk to a great grocery store, restaurant or down to the sound. We also enjoyed the outdoor living spaces such as the deck, hot tub, gorgeous yard and patio spaces. Orcas island adventure

This was a perfect house for our family to gather during Spring Break. It was perfectly situated so we could walk to town easily but still have a sense of being in the country. The house was very well maintained and we had everything we needed to make our stay a perfect relaxing getaway. We all agreed that we would recommend this house to anyone who is thinking of an Orcas Island adventure.

This was our second time booking this home for a family vacation, so we obviously think it’s amazing. It is a lovely property within walking distance to town. Kitchen is well equipped and home is clean. It is very peaceful with the exception of an occasional small airplane landing at the nearby airport. There were no planes during the night. Relaxing and Peaceful and Convenient

What a lovely property! The dogs loved romping around the backyard; we had everything we needed to prepare delicious meals to enjoy around the table. Hot tub was relaxing; everything was clean. There were thoughtful touches throughout, and communication was effortless! Def recommend and we would stay here again. (Two family getaway to celebrate high school graduations.)

Great Orcas Island Home for a Family Trip

My family had never been to Orcas Island and Kristen's home was perfect for the weekend! It was spacious inside and there was more than enough space for the 6 of us plus our dog (with an extra bed room to spare!). The kitchen was well equipped (we cooked several meals) and the backyard is really sweet with lots of fruit trees. The home is also only a 10 minute walk (or 2 minute drive) into East Sound which was so convenient. Kristen was super easy to communicate with before the trip. We had such a lovely time -- the home was comfortable, all in all a great experience! Highly recommend staying here if you find yourself with a group on Orcas Island.

Our stay at Kristen's Lovers Lane Enchanted Forest Home was overall enjoyable for the short time that we were able to actually able to stay at it! We attended a family destination wedding for the weekend, so our time at the home was very limited except for having breakfast and sleeping there. Check-in was easy, and we had arranged to check in early since we had taken the 12:25 pm ferry from Annacortes. The only thing that we would "ding the house on" and give a little less than excellent score of 4.5 stars would be the lack of mentioning that the house is in the flight path of the take off's of the small plane airport a couple block away! It was just a little scary sometimes to hear the roar/sputter/s of some of the aircraft above the house when you are inside it! Other than the noise from the planes, our Grandsons loved running around in the garden and picking the apples off the trees! And they especially Loved the "Secret Hideaway" just for kids! We had a fantastic 5 days staying at The Orchard at Lovers Lane and Enchanted Forest! Thank You, Kristen!

I’m Kristen, and I’ve had the pleasure of managing this home since 2021. I recently started my own private hosting business, and I’m so excited to continue welcoming guests — whether you’ve stayed here before or are visiting for the first time.

I’m originally from Canada and have lived in Nebraska and the Seattle area before putting down roots and starting a family here on Orcas Island. I absolutely love calling this place home and feel truly fortunate to raise my daughter on such a beautiful island.

When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the beach, out on the lake, or in the kitchen cooking and canning. Last year, I even made several jars of applesauce and plum preserves from the fruit trees right here on the property- so delicious!

I’m always happy to help make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or special requests, I’m here to help!

I love this property for so many reasons! Although it’s conveniently located right in town, it still feels peaceful and private- a rare combination. The home is spacious yet cozy, offering plenty of room to relax while maintaining an inviting, intimate feel.

Guests especially appreciate the hot tub, the large outdoor area that’s perfect for kids to play or for tossing a ball with the dog, and the opportunity to enjoy fresh fruit straight from the trees when in season. It’s a wonderful blend of comfort, convenience, and simple island charm.
