The charming former fishing village of St. Jean curves gently around the yacht harbour, in a sheltered corner of the lush green peninsular of Cap Ferrat, which stretches out into the sparkling blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea between Nice and Monaco. Four pretty beach coves are within 10 minutes walk from the village, as well as a spectacular coastal walking path around the entire peninsular, past the 12th century chapel of St. Hospice and the lighthouse, and on to the village of Villefranche, with its mediaeval Old Town and Citadel. Good bus and train connections offer outings to Nice and Monaco, 20 minutes away along the scenic Basse Corniche coastal road and rail track, as well as day trips to Antibes and Cannes and up into the picturesque hill villages of the Alpes Maritimes. St. Jean - Cap Ferrat is within easy reach of Nice International Airport (15 kms), Nice railway station (5 kms) and the A8 motorway (Monaco Exit). Contact the owners for details and access maps.
