Only reason this isn’t a full 5 star review is because we had to cancel upon arrival due to an issue at the property that was out of owners control. They were extremely understanding, and very prompt to give us a full refund. The place looked amazing outside of the issue preventing us from staying. I wanted to still leave them a positive review bc of how absolutely awesome they were to deal with. If we return to Idaho Springs in the future I will be looking this place up to see if it’s available.
This cabin is much cozier and more attractive than its photos. We loved the earthy decor and the many sitting areas both inside and outside. Unfortunately, because of changes in the local law, the gas firepit outside had to be removed which took away from that sitting area. It was nice that there are few steps to the entrance and that there was a bedroom on the main level for one member of our group with balance issues. The wooden steps from the main level to the basement have warped some over time which made them a bit challenging for someone with mobility issues, although there are hand rails on both sides which helped. The steam shower on the main level was a favorite. Also loved the number of nearby hiking trails and the closeness to Idaho Springs. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.
Great stay. The amenities were as described. Lots of living and sleeping space with a very functional kitchen. Very clean and easy to maintain during our stay. The surrounding outdoor space was beautiful.
Beautiful! We stayed there for our son’s wedding and it was beautiful and the perfect location for getting to the venue - 5 minutes away!! Definitely would recommend this property. The owner was great to communicate with!
We had a great time at this Mountain Retreat, Very close to all that adventures we wanted to go to and still experience the peace and quiet that a mountain can offer.
A beautiful, well-managed property only about a 10 minute drive from downtown Idaho Springs. The house itself is gorgeous and is only outshone by the surrounding nature. Every morning we got to sit on the spacious porch and watch the sunrise against the mountains while listening to the little creek that runs right infront of the house. The management is fantastic as well. I had a lot of questions prior and during our stay and Liz always promptly responded, completely answering my questions with kindness and patience. 10/10 recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Idaho Springs area.
Window screens would be nice to keep out bugs. 1 bed had ripped sheets and a couple towels were dated. other than that, a beautiful place. Had one of my best vacations with my family

Glad you had one of the best vacations with your family and sorry to hear that our linens got us a 4 star review. We happily provide our guests with 100% cotton broadcloth sheets and towels as well as keep extras in the laundry room. At times some of those older towels from the laundry room get mixed in with our new towels.
We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is beautiful and has a wonderful outdoor area to hang out in. We enjoyed grilling, using the fire pit, and playing yard games. Highly recommend!
The property was absolutely perfect for us. We were in town for a wedding and the property was perfectly located as well as super clean, super well stocked and just really nice. Thank you for a great place to stay!
The house is really lovely. Five bedroom and 3.5 baths and plenty of space for 10 best friends. The property is really pretty, complete with a babbling brook right outside the door and a couple of foxes who kept an eye on us during our stay. The owner was really quick to get back to me when I had questions. No cell service but there is WiFi. Great place!
The cabin was wonderful for a girls’ weekend! Description and pictures are accurate. Plenty of space for 6-8 adults. The wrap around porch is awesome and the main floor kitchen / living area is a great gathering spot. You are definitely in nature but still only 10 min from Idaho Springs town with shopping, breweries, restaurants, etc. Liz was responsive. Check-in was easy. Minor feedback: refresh outdoor cushions and add a storage bin. Also - we couldn’t figure out how to cast to the TV to watch sports / live TV (maybe user error and not totally necessary for a weekend trip). 10/10 would stay again!
We were there for our daughter’s gymnastics meet at University of Denver. We loved this location because it was close enough to everywhere we needed to go and close enough to everywhere we wanted to go! The home is beautiful! Thank you for having us

We loved our stay at this property. The property was even better than advertised and is close to so many outdoor activities. We saw lots of wildlife around the house and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Close to the town of Idaho Springs with lots of good restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back!
