The farm 'La Gentihommière' is located 5km from Megève, in the heart of the village of Praz sur Arly, which ensures easy access to shops and restaurants.
The skibus stop in front of the building.
This farm dates from 1828, it has been restored with
care and noble materials to keep its authenticity and charm.
Its old original wood gives it a lot of character. 180m2 of surface area welcomes you with 6 bedrooms equipped with hotel bedding and a television. Its living room has a beautiful fireplace and large bay windows on the south side and a large format TV. You can relax in its sauna with mountain views. A spa, whirlpool will be available from winter 2020 in a private room for the Izard apartment.

A beautifully decorated, well equipped chalet in a great location

We were a group of 3 families staying in La Gentilhommiere for the week. The chalet is as beautiful as the photos show, very cozy, clean and well equipped. The location is central to Praz-sur-arly so very handy for shops and restaurants. The bus to the slopes can be caught across the road and takes about 10 minutes, alternatively the walk doesn't take much longer. Communication with Isabelle was easy (with the help of google translate!) and she was always very quick to respond to any questions. Would love to return in the future :-)

Amazing Praz Sur Arly Holiday with Family

Wonderful hosts of this beautiful alpine chic apartment/chalet. We loved the decor and the chalet offers all the amenities including hot tub, sauna and ski hut for all your equipment. Loved the well set up kitchen snd large table for dining by the fire. So many things in Praz are right outside the door. Quick and convenient to slopes and we had no issue parking. I hate Covid has disrupted things for all and sure it affected many holidays but we never waited in queue or at slope side restaurants. Good snow conditions this week and special week for us. Megeve a quick drive away for so many dining and shopping options. We had a couple typical small issues IE dryer problem and hosts were very helpful and responsive. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us.

A Beautiful Chalet Apartment

This is a beautifully decorated old chalet apartment with good size bedrooms and living space. The Sauna and hot tub are also fantastic to help relax at the end of the day, although to get to the hot tub you have to go out of the main door located next to the road, so not totally private, The kitchen is well equipped and also has raclette machines and a hot stone for a typical Haute Savoie style meal. Parking space was big enough for 3 cars. Plenty of logs for the fire in the chalet (But this fire gives off a lot of heat). The ski locker is a wooden shed in the parking lot with boot warmers and is very secure. The only draw back with this property is its location to the "Local Bar", this bar opens at 18;00 and closes 02:00, and it can be very noisy, not the owners fault but the it is a disturbance at 02:00 in the morning. Yes we would stay here again it suited our families needs very well.

Quel merveilleux séjour chez Isabelle et son mari. A 20m du skibus, 30m des loueurs de ski et de l'Esf. Face à la pharmacie et à l'épicerie.Parking devant le chalet, skiroom chauffé. Jacuzzi chaud en permanence. Nous n'avons jamais manqué d'eau chaude dans les 3 sallesd'eau. A disposition appareils à raclette, fondue, plancha ..il ne manque rien ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour ! Logement fidèle à l’annonce mais à noter qu’un autre logement se trouve au RDC. De notre côté les personnes logeant au RDC étaient très respectueux au niveau des nuisances sonores mais la qualité de votre séjour peut en dépendre. Également quelques nuisances sonores du fait de la proximité avec la route passante et d’un bar. Pour tout ce qui est du reste tout était parfait : propreté, accueil, vue depuis le balcon, equipment, etc.

Ce chalet est plein de charme. Idéal pour des rencontres conviviales et intergénérationnelles. Nous avons apprécié l'accueil chaleureux d'Émily. BIEN, MAIS SERAIT ENCORE MIEUX SANS LES NUISANCES NOCTURNES

Chalet très bien rénové et décoré avec goût. Très bien équipé avec un local à ski et séchoir pour les chaussures de ski, jacuzzi et sauna. Seule ombre au tableau le "LOCAL BAR" de l'autre côté de la route, juste en face du chalet. Il s'agit d'un bar de nuit ouvert de 18h00 à 02h00. Ce sont des troubles à la tranquillité d'autrui, des nuisances sonores réitérés, car toutes les nuits, à partir de 23h00 jusqu'à après 02h00, le temps que tout le petit monde s'en aille. Les clients qui se trouvent à l'extérieur parlent fort, crient, hurlent et "meuglent" se foutant littéralement du voisinage. L'alcool aidant les nuisances s'intensifient. Sur les murs des chambres qui donnent sur la rue et donc face à l'établissement, ont été posé du liège devant atténuer le bruit. C'est bien que les propriétaires ont connaissance des faits. Il n'y en a pas sur les murs des chambres donnant de l'autre coté du chalet. Donc pour les prochains occupant, boules Quies à prévoir. Contactée la propriétaire est dans le déni le plus total.

Très bon séjour, très bien reçu.

Très bon séjour, beaucoup d'activités dans la région et aussi des randonnées départ à pieds du chalet. Le sauna chauffait très vite et le SPA était à la bonne température. Au centre du village pour les courses et les croissants le matin, c'était parfait. La maison nous a permis de faire des grands repas de famille. Nous avons été très bien reçu par les propriétaires.

Chalet très bien décoré, toute la décoration est soignée dans les moindres détails. L’emplacement est au centre de Praz sur Alrly hyper bien placé pour les commerces (de qualité), les restaurants, le télésiège pour les randonnées et le ruisseau pour se rafraîchir. En été le samedi soir il y a du bruit à cause du bar juste en face mais c’est beaucoup plus calme les autres soirs. Nous espérons revenir dans ce très très beau chalet! Merci

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in einer tollen Unterkunft mitten im Dorf, 30m zum skibus. Mega Austattung mit jakuzzi und sauna+ HĂĽtte fĂĽr die skiausrĂĽstung inkl. Skischuheizung. Trott Spachbarriere, sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit der vermieterin!!! Kommen wieder!!!

Encore un très bon séjour à la gentilhommière

Très bon séjour entre amis avec nos enfants à la "gentilhommière". Le gite est très bien conçu et équipé et on se sent comme à la maison. Nous avons pu profitez du sauna et du jacuzzi. Nous avons également profitez de la cheminée. Je recommande ce gite pour un séjour entre amis ou en famille.
