Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Wash all dishes and replace in cabinets. Return heat to 55 degrees if used. Shut AC off. Shut off any room heaters or fans.
Secure trash in trash bags in steel box by back door. Clean recycling, sorted in barrels on porch. close and lock windows.
If you brought a dog, please be sure poop is picked up in secure bags in trash bag, not bottom of trash bucket.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Dogs are not to be left alone for long periods of time. Must be on leash when on property. Not allowed on furniture, one dog only, no cats or birds.

We had a lovely stay here for our anniversary weekend! The cottage was so cozy and we especially loved having a fire in the fireplace each evening. The owner was very responsive and kind to us. We’d love to come back some time!

Cozy Cabin

We came up to NH from RI for Thanksgiving with our small family. It was great to get away and just chill by the fire. We got some nice snow and it was magical being in that setting during the storm. The cabin stayed cozy and warm the whole time. It was just what we needed. The cabin had everything we needed and we would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a nice escape.

Old time Lake vacation

Overlook was an experience like a step back in time. The spotless, well cared for property evoked a 1940's cabin with stone fireplace and knotty pine interior. Very welcoming hosts, Donna and Steve.

Property was nice went to north conway to fish conway lake only complaint was grill was dirty and couldnt find a brush to clean drive way was very tight dor a boat trailer

5 day get-away

We really enjoyed our stay at the overlook. Hiking on the sunny days and staying in and playing board games on the rainy ones, the weather was a non factor on our enjoyment. The cabin was just the right size, very cozy and well supplied. We were more than thrilled to be able to bring our dog along with us for this adventure. Will definitely be looking to book again in the future.

Cabin stay

The cabin was great for my children, husband, and I. It exceeded my expectations and Had everything we needed and was close enough to everything in town and other places. It was super quiet and inviting. We didn’t spend time at the lake at all, but the atmosphere was very relaxing as far as the little yard area out back of the cabin. Donna was really responsive as well and made everything easy. I will definitely stay here again with my family.

Nice, Quiet get-away with a lake view

The house was well kept, with all the necessities provided (sans sheets) and very accommodating owners. Donna was willing to let us tie our rowboat to their dock while they were there, but we were a bit surprised to find that the public beach was a half mile walk away down a relatively busy road. All in all, we had a great stay, and it was worth every penny.

Thank you for your review. The town beach is seen from the cottage and the walk out of our association is .3 miles on a quiet road and then .1 miles on a sidewalk to the town beach. I hope this information is helpful to others.

Second trip as good as the first

My daughter and I had a great time on our second stay at the Overlook. The cottage is comfortable, roomy, and had everything we would expect to enjoy a week away. Before we stayed the first time I wasn't sure about the short walk to the lake's beach, but it was fine for us. It's really nice that the owner allows use of their double-kayak from their dock. Very quiet location, easy to get to, and very close to N. Conway, Conway, Kancamagus, hiking... We will definitely stay here again!

My husband and I are fortunate enough to spend summers with our 2 daughters and their families on Conway Lake enjoying 4 seasons of outside activities in the White Mountains.
It is great to be able to share Overlook with others. Stargazing, listening to sounds of the frogs and loons, mountain biking and hiking, to fishing or kayaking on the lake. In winter, skiing ,coasting or skating on the lake then snuggle inside by a warm wood fire.

Why they chose this property

This cottage is located in a quiet community on Conway Lake, a 10-15 minute drive to North Conway. It is clean, cozy and comfortable for a small family or 4 adults. Although it does not have all of the amenities that a hotel has it is clean, comfortable and affordable.
