We would love to have you visit our secluded riverfront home in the heart of Mount Washington Valley. “Lost on the River” is a slice of heaven on the east branch of the Saco River. Situated on the end of a private road less than 10 minutes to North Conway, this is a wonderful “out of the way location, close to everything” in the middle of all the White Mountains have to offer – hiking, golf, Storyland, outlet shopping, skiing, snowmobiling, fly fishing or taking a refreshing dip in the river in front our house. This area is also home to some of the best motorcycle riding in all of New England.

Our cabin is perfect for couples and small families who enjoy the tranquility of a remote riverfront location yet appreciate the amenities of a fully functional house. It is clean and comfortable with many ‘little extras” – fireplace, full kitchen, washer/dryer, HDTV, DVD, Free WiFi, free telephone, stereo, gas grill, as well as a riverfront fire pit.

Your dog is welcome with prior approval and an additional $15/night pet fee.

NO HOUSEKEEPING FEE! We do not charge an additional housekeeping fee but ask our guest to bring their own sheets/towels (we provide bed coverings and pillows). We understand that this is not always feasible, so our caretakers can provide linens for an additional $75 fee and 7 day advance notice.

Summer and Fall: Start off your day with breakfast on the front porch overlooking the riverfront, pack a lunch and hike around nearby Mountain pond, come back and relax by the fire pit on the river, and then fall to sleep with the sound of the river outside your bedroom window…..

Our third stay at this wonderful gem in Intervale.Cabin is at the end of a quiet road on the river, with extensive easy-walk trail continuing past the cabin along the river.We love the wood stove, outdoor fire pit, and peaceful location within easy drive to restaurants or shopping.Thank you for sharing! Great getaway

We went up for a wedding and needed a place we could bring our dog. The cabin was exactly as listed and was nice and cozy. We loved the property and location, it was so quiet and peaceful. The owners were great and sent us plenty of communication which was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

Such a lovely spot!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is even more charming than the pictures would suggest. It was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 7) to explore the property/river with our dog, and was also an excellent jumping off point for all the area has to offer. It was spotless on arrival and had all the amenities we needed.

Ideal location for privacy and convenience. Brenda the owner was easy to reach and communicated quickly. The cabin was spotless clean when we arrived. One of the best spots for a fire pit right on the river. Will be looking to stay again next time I visit the Bartlett/ North Conway area.

Peace on the river

This is a magical place! If you want peace, the beauty of nature, and the sound of the mighty Saco River, this is the place for you. The cabin is terrific, it has the feel of camping, but with all your household necessities. You can sit by the fire, only feet from the river, and relax all day. The short drive to town and Mount Washington makes this spot even better! I was sad to leave, but am ecstatic about next year's visit!

Another great stay!

This was our second stay at this amazing retreat and we couldn't be more thrilled, again. The location and cabin are absolutely prefect. We love that cabin is secluded, but close enough to everything we wanted to do. Our children spent nearly every hour we were at the cabin playing in the river and exploring. Just like our last stay, before we even left the driveway to leave they asked when we get to come back. We are so grateful for the life-long memories we have made at this little slice of heaven!

Just as wonderful as our previous visits. The cabin is smack dab in the middle of everything yet you feel like you’re the only people on earth. We love opening the windows at night to fall asleep to the sound of the river. It’s a comfortable and relaxing place. Great hosts too :)

Winter wonderland!

We have stayed here Last year and loved it! This year we finally had snow! Brutal cold but this place was right was still wonderful! Owners are super responsive. -17 degrees but still nice and.cozy with wood stove going! Can’t wait to come back next year!!

Amazing get away

This house is an amazing peaceful get away. It’s very secluded and quite. Listening to the river at night is relaxing. The porch is where we spent most mornings for coffee and evenings on the rockers before heading to start a fire. Defiantly will be back! Perfect Location - Beautiful Escape

My family of four (along with our 2 pups), stayed at this amazing cabin. I have been traveling to NH for 10+ years and this is by far one of the best (if not best) locations I have ever stayed at. If you are looking for a true escape, immersed in nature, look no further! This cozy cabin is completely private and on a beautiful river. The pups (and kids) loved the beautiful path right outside the house for walks. We loved it so much, we booked it for the summer to enjoy the river. Thank you to the amazing hosts for a wonderful stay and excellent communication!

Lost on the River

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at this cabin! Can’t wait to come here again! Walking out and hearing the flow of water all day long is so calming. The pathway is a nice short hike along the river! Lost on the River!

We had a week at this winter wonderland! Exactly as described, very private at roads end. Right on beautiful Saco River that burbles and winds in front of the house! Cabin is cosy and welcoming with everything you need for comfort. Great mattresses and comfortable living room with wood provided for Franklin fireplace! We would come back for sure. Excellent owner attention!

We live on Cape Cod and met about 18 years ago. We were married at this property in 2010. In 2011 we became custodial grandparents to 2 beautiful girls (2 & 7), and now do not have the opportunity to visit as often as we used to..... So we have decided to share our property with others who will appreciate the very special location.

Why they chose this property

We knew we wanted to buy in the North Conway area, and had been looking at a lot of 'cookie cutter' houses.... Our 1st priority was location - even if we had to build. When the realtor drove us up to this house, we both knew the second we stepped out of the car we had found what we were looking for!! And the fact that we had a fully functioning house was a dream come true!!! We are sure that you will feel the same!!
