HOUSE RULES:

Age: All guests must be a minimum of 25 years of age unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Damage: We understand that accidents happen but please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned.

Plumbing: We would like to avoid having a plumber come and crash your stay so please avoid flushing anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.

Freedom Finder is dog-friendly. Make sure to list your dog when making your reservation. There is maximum of 2 dogs. Weight limit: 50 pounds.

The most wonderful experience! By far the best place we have stayed. Host was absolutely amazing! You can tell the amount of effort put into to every detail. We loved the guidebook and visited many of the recommenned sights, restaurants and shops. We didn't want to go home and made great memories. Such a cozy, beautiful area!

This is my family’s second stay in this cabin and I have to say, you won’t find a better place to relax. The cabin has everything you could want or need. The views and hikes are spectacular. There are so many great accommodations from a welcoming cabin, to a hot tub, super cozy just all around. I will definitely be back. The cabin is very clean and very nicely put together, it has that very homey touch. Thank you so much!

Great Place for a Long Weekend

My husband and I choose this property for a long weekend getaway with our dogs. We were beyond impressed with everything about our stay, from the spotlessly clean accommodation, to the above and beyond communication from our host, to the picturesque grounds, and the thoughtful touches like a welcome basket and all the amenities we could possibly need (even things you don’t typically find at VRBO properties like toiletries, coffee, books, games, etc.). It’s also super convenient to local attractions like state parks, wineries, and some wonderful restaurants in Helen. This was honestly the most thoughtfully appointed rental property we’ve ever booked and we will definitely book it again the next time we find ourselves visiting Helen.

Wonderful stay!

Wow is all I can say! The house and property is beautiful. Lynette is a great host. Her special touches throughout the house were special! We felt right at home. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The whole house was very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Do not hesitate to book this house! Can’t wait to stay again! Amazing

What an amazing place. Just 5 miles to town but so secluded you didn’t see another house even during the daylight hours. The extra touches like wine and s’mores and shampoo were so thoughtful. I will definitely book this cabin for my next trip.

Amazing location

I have been to Helen in the past but I wanted to bring my husband this trip for his first time. We brought our dogs and they loved it! The house was perfect for a cozy Thanksgiving. We built fires every night and enjoyed the hot tub daily. Lynette thought of every little detail to make us feel welcomed! Can’t want to return!

Out Stay at Freedom Finder

This rental was an outstanding rental. The cabin was well maintained, and when we arrived there were special items that welcomed us there. The hot tub was great, clean and worked perfect. The rooms were stocked to and above standard. The fireplace in the living room was the icing on our stay. The fire pit outside was well lit and a great place to prepare smores. If you are looking for a family rental, this is it.

Beautiful

The cabin was beautiful. There were personal touches (left hot cocoa, and personalized note) that made it very special. The property manager had someone coming to look at the breaker for the hot tube but communicated that to us. The cabin was stocked great. We have stayed in several and this one was definitely the most well stocked.

Everything was great!

I celebrated my birthday, with family. Lynette even had a Happy Birthday banner hung and signs in the yard, nice touch! The cabin was as described, very cozy and well decorated. The wrap around front porch with all the rockers and swings was our favorite, for hanging out or breakfast. We will definitely be back in the fall, when the weather is a bit more pleasant! Host was very communitive and fast with responses.

Amazing Cabin!

We had a fantastic time! The cabin was perfect for our family and all the extras and attention to detail really made our stay special. The beds were comfortable and made up nicely with plenty of extra pillows and blankets throughout the house. We enjoyed the seclusion and privacy of the cabin while still being only a few minutes from anything we wanted to go do. My family even enjoyed the fire pit and the s’mores makings that were left for us. Lynette is a fantastic host who truly puts thought into every detail of her home and wants to make sure her guests have a great time. We absolutely would stay here again.

Wonderful Anniversary spent at Freedom Finder!

Everything was perfect at the house. It was the best stocked house that I have ever rented. I mean, everything was thought of! We did not lack for anything! It was nice and private, yet 4 easy miles to downtown Helen. Lay down outside on the day bed and read a book or lay out there under the stars - you won’t regret it! Thank you, Lynette, for being such a wonderful host, and making our one year wedding anniversary one that we won’t forget!

Home Away From Home

This cabin was truly a home away from home. If we needed anything, we just looked and there it was! Amenities were not "cheap" rental ones that you often find. It was very clean and the home itself quite secluded. We were a family of six but yet we had space between the cabin and exterior. If you go nowhere there was still lots of fun things to do and play. Lynette, our host, is proud of her home and it shows! Thank you for sharing it with us who need that mountain "getaway".

Absolutely Amazing

6 adults. When we arrived, getting inside was very simple. It is in a very secluded and private location. Everything was very clean and we felt welcome from the time we walked through the door. The inside felt cozy. Everything was clearly explained. The hot tub was perfect-hot and clean. The large porch was also amazing. We all loved how exceptional this house is and we plan on coming back in the future. Lynnette is the best host I have ever had with VRBO and I wish there were more like her. She goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are well taken care of. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Perfect Cabin Retreat- would definitely come back!

Perfect cabin retreat! Lynette is a very attentive host and had the cabin stocked with everything one might need. The thoughtful touches for my husband's birthday were an added bonus. Also appreciated were the amenities and some extra treats for our pup. Self checkin/checkout was very convenient. The cabin is just as described and better. We enjoyed the falling leaves from the colorful trees in the backyard from the porch, sounding like rain. We used the firepit area and hottub each night except when we went into Helen for Oktoberfest festivities one evening. We ventured out to Anna Ruby Falls one day too. We all agreed we would definitely come back to Freedom Finder and we are telling all our friends.

Beautiful and cozy

Everything was wonderful! First of all let me give a great big THANK YOU to Lynette for the awesome surprise Birthday card, bubbly and special treats. The communication with Lynette before, during and after our stay made everything run smoothly. She had the cabin well stocked with everything you might need or had forgotten. The cabin was very comfortable with plenty of room for our group. We especially enjoyed the hot tub, the porch, the fire pits and the "swang" lol. We were in awe of all of her thoughtfulness. It was also great to be so close to Helen. I know this is new to you, but you've got it! Keep doing what your doing and you can't go wrong. There isn't one negative thing I can say about our stay. A Relaxing Cozy get away, with everything we needed PLUS!

I can't tell you how wonderful and welcoming it was to be greeted with such warmness and charm... before we even opened the door. You know it is going to be a great property when the porch feels like home. This cabin felt like it was mine, everything I needed or could even think of needing was right there. Every time I opened a drawer, I was surprised at the items provided for me. Coming from living in Colorado for 30 years, I felt I could have been in Breckenridge, or Winter Park, or many of the wonder places with this level of Mtn charm. BUT, with the added bonus of all things GA mtns, green, rivers and wineries nearby! Each morning we enjoyed our coffee on the porch with the wonderful swings... and we stayed in them for hours. It was so comforting that is was actually hard to get dressed and make ourselves leave the property! We never did have a fire, but we enjoyed the lights of the fire pit and hammock and hot tub every night. We did enjoy the hot tub, and were even provided super 'waffle towels', for the hot tub. The grounds were nice and clean and manicured, and the walking path covered with a beautiful green moss. Hands down the best home rental I have ever experienced. On top of the wonderful property... on leaving it was discovered that in my state of relaxation that I had left some very important personal items in one of the bedside table drawers, and Lynette made sure I got those items returned to me without any expectations. The house just feels like your own home, and you can feel the love and care but into everything there. The only problem is that you have to leave at the end of your stay! Just all around a truly great memory of a perfect relaxing week in the GA mtns.

You will not want to leave!!

If you are looking for serenity, beauty, fresh air, and an absolutely breathtaking porch to rock or swing hours away, this is the place. Beautifully decorated inside - so cozy - with many amenities that make you feel welcomed. When you do decide to head out to enjoy the community, there are so many enjoyable activities to take part in within a short distance, and then come back and enjoy a relaxing campfire with good conversation and a bottle of wine from one of the local vineyards.

Heavenly!!

We had the most amazing stay. We were snowed in for a few days and we weren’t sad about it. The place was clean and cozy. Lynette was so easy to talk to and very quick with responses. She had a s’mores kit and a hot cocoa bar for us which I thought was so sweet! The beds were so comfortable!! There is absolutely nothing that could have made the stay any better. We enjoyed the fire pit and we loved the jacuzzi. We will definitely be making a trip back to see this beautiful slice of heaven!

Wonderful Christmas getaway!

Our adult family snuck away for a weekend to Helen before Christmas. The Freedom Finder was absolutely perfect! Warm, cozy, clean, well-stocked and fully decorated. Coffee, hot chocolate with fixings, teas, and smores provided. The host goes above and beyond to supply the sweetest of amenities. Made the experience so special. The cabin was beautiful, the fire pits were inviting, as we had pretty chilly weather. We enjoyed the hot tub after our long hikes. Played games and watched Christmas movies and just enjoyed each others company. Wish we had stayed longer. Would definitely book the Freedom Finder again! Thank you for such a special welcome!

Extremely Pleased!

Our visit was wonderfully enjoyable and relaxing. This was in no small part due to the level of attention given to the preparation and staging of the home and the property. I travel frequently and never know what to expect from a property. I can only say that my wife and I have never stayed in a vacation rental so well appointed. We really had everything we might need provided for our stay. And the outside yard, which provides relaxing vignettes like the fire pit, porch swings, rocking chairs and star gazer made the outside experience just as meaningful and enjoyable as the inside of the property. We are so excited to return for an even longer stay next year!

I currently live in Atlanta but spend as much time as possible in the area, soaking in the mountain air and discovering hidden trails.

I know how important it is to feel at home while traveling, which is why I’ve thoughtfully curated my vacation rentals to offer the perfect balance of comfort, convenience, and special touches that make every stay memorable. My goal is to provide a space where families, friends, and groups can connect, unwind, and create lasting memories.

I love the north Georgia mountains, waterfalls, and hiking trails in the area. It was my love for this area, combined with a love for hospitality that prompted me to purchase a cabin in the area. When I saw this particular cabin, I fell in love with it. Since purchasing it, I've enjoyed doing some updates and making it a truly unique place.
