1 bedroom. 1 bath cozy cottage with kitchen and beach access.
I was born in Seattle and have lived in San Francisco and Honolulu over the years but this remains HOME. I went to the University of Washington and grew up in the Shoreline area. I love the energy of the city but treasure the smells of my fir trees and beach here in Poulsbo. This little corner of the world offers convenience and escape both. I love my garden, my cozy home and the grandeur of the views we have here. Water and mountains!
sandra purchased this Cottage in 2007
Why sandra chose Poulsbo
My husband and I bought this beautiful home on the water and have enjoyed every minute of it! The wildlife surrounds us with eagles, seals and even whales. I love the garden and the feeling we're miles away from the busy city but really it's only a short drive away. The town of Poulsbo is even a quick 3 mile walk! There's golfing, casino life, theatres and restaurants and everything you might want close by but when you're in the hammock you feel peaceful and away from it all!
What makes this Cottage unique
Your walk to the beach will take you 15 seconds. The view from the kitchen window is out toward the water through the garden. The kayaks are waiting for you to explore the shoreline. The fire pit is ready for marshmallows or simply a quiet night in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine. Whitehorse Golf Course is 25 minutes away. Clearwater Casino is a 5 minute drive. Shopping in Silverdale is only 15 minutes away and the little town of Poulsbo with Sluys Bakery is just 3 miles away. The ferry to Seattle and all it has to offer is just 20 minutes away too. These are the reasons I LOVE THIS PLACE! And I hope you will too.....

Peaceful and relaxing
We felt relaxed the entire time we were at the Beach Suite! The tiny house was clean and perfect, the grounds were gorgeous, and the water view was peaceful and beautiful! We enjoyed kayaking and walking on the beach (this is really only possible when the tide is way out and it's very rocky, so wear appropriate footwear) and the town of Poulsbo is charming. The only negative was that we had to go home.
We enjoyed our 2 day stay at Sandi's place on the beach. It was quiet, peaceful and in a great location. We enjoyed the sunsets, kayaks and beach walks. The cottage was fully stocked with everything you need and had some excellent personal touches. Sandi's place is also quite close to a cute town down the road which is worth checking out. We would recommend this place to others and would stay here again. Thanks for having us!
Krysta I'm so glad you had a good visit and got to enjoy what this little corner of the world offers! There's even more to see when you visit again!
Clean and comfy
Very much enjoyed our stay at the beach cottage. Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, clean and private. Enjoyed the ocean breezes and easy access to the shore.
Thank you Cathal! I hope you come again to enjoy the kayaks too! You were great guests.
Very Peaceful & Relaxing!
Wonderful, little safe place to stay. Not to far from the Clearwater Resort. It was very quiet and peaceful there. The host was very nice and generous. It was nice drinking beers and sitting around the fire overlooking the water. My mom had a great time for her birthday.
We will be back in the near future. Thank you, T
It was fun hosting you guys! So glad you had a chance to enjoy nature as well as the fun night life!

I hope you’ll come visit again too Monica!! It was great to meet you! Next time enjoy the kayaks!
I've listed the activities that are within 15 minutes of the Beach Suite but the Olympic National Park offers many more such as skiing and rock climbing. Then there are the lavender fields up north in Sequim and the ferry to Victoria out of Port Angeles.
