Enjoyable Spot

This property was in just the right location for exploring the southern Outer Banks. The house was just the right size. We had 3 issues during our stay-roaches, heat didn't work, running toilet- however, all issues were addressed promptly. The house is older and really needs some attention to cosmetics I.e. broken curtain rods, deck repairs, as well as a deep clean. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Sea Biscuit review

The home was spacious, and bright. It was a great size for our 2 families, and th ed kitchen was well-stocked. Unfortunately, the home was not very clean. It would have been nice if there were some games available for downtime or rainy days. Providing linens and towels would also have been appreciated.

Many Items broken

For starters, If it was not broken...Then it was probably missing. -No gas grill... charcoal grill was broken hanging off the mount. Garden hose had broken nozzle, so I bought one. Then the hose broke at the hose bib, so again I fixed that. Then the hose had numerous holes in it spraying down everything else. Remote for TV was missing and you could not use volume without having to get up and laydown to see the button layout on the TV. Electrical is a fire waiting to happen. Bdrm fixtures would turn on after the switch was on for 15-20 min. If you just touched the side table the lamp would just turn off. Shower head fell off and would not stay connected. Hot tub label is missing and has sharpie written for the operations. They did not label the OFF switch, which took me 20 min just to figure out how to turn it off. Multiple cabinet doors where broken off the hinges so we had to be very careful when using. Every knife in the house was so dull if wouldn't cut anything. Very poor lighting in the carport under the house. Not enough to see anything. Beds are nearly trash with a 4" foam thrown on a old wore out mattres. No ceiling fans in any master bdrm. Most of the outdoor furniture was broken and busted left in the place. Lacking a outdoor table or picnic table. This is my first stay with Surf and Sound reality and I will not book with them again. Ive been comeing to the OBX for 20 plus years, twice a year with Dolphin and Midget. I will stay with those companies from now on.
