We love our cabin, it's a very special place. We want people who visit to feel welcome and to leave with an understanding of how important it is to protect wild and scenic rivers and the forests around them.
An incredible stay! Both the cabin and its location were unmatched. Being situated right on the river provided a serene, peaceful, and deeply calming atmosphere. We absolutely loved the outdoor setup; the patio has spectacular river views, and having dedicated steps to walk down to the water was amazing. The hosts thoughtfully provided chairs and blankets, making it seamless to head down and relax right on the water. The cabin itself was exceptionally comfortable and stocked with every amenity we needed. Its proximity to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park was a huge plus for trail exploring. We were only there 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! We would definitely stay here again.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay in our special part of the world. We welcome return guests and hope you hurry back.
Wonderful stay! The decorations and timber structure made it feel homey. Very clean and well kept up. Loved the location near the river and in the midst of the mighty redwoods. It was so comforting opening the bedroom window and hearing the water flow by. The small gas stove heater in the living room added a nice touch when it got a little chilly late evening and early morning. Look forward to staying there again sometime.

We are happy to know you enjoyed your stay. Please come again.
Exceeded our expectations! So much attention to detail at the cabin. All the supplies we needed to make dinner were at our fingertips. The view from the kitchen window was great! The highlight of our stay was the nature sightings at the rivers's edge. We saw a few American dippers, a blue heron, and a family of river otters swimming and fishing. The hardest part was leaving. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This cabin is heaven for my husband and me. It's peaceful setting on the Smith River and comfortable, simple cabin appeal are perfect for us. The outdoor seating and dining area add to size and comfort of the experience. The cabin is extremely well appointed and supplies guests with lovely creature comforts. I truly enjoyed the Nespresso! Thank you so much for our THIRD stay. Looking forward to our fourth already. I hated to leave.
Really a home away from home! We enjoyed our stay so much! Looking forward to returning. Made us wish we lived there because it’s so peaceful, and the sound of the river made falling asleep every night a real joy. Fun river spot, even saw otters. Hummingbirds all around property was a real treat! Feel blessed to have found this cabin. We don’t have any family to go stay with but it gave the feeling we were at a family’s home that they wanted us to have a nice comfortable stay!
Had an amazing time once again staying at this cabin. We knew the last time we stayed we wanted to come back to this cabin when we came up to get married and it made the trip even more magical.
This place is stunning! Easy access to the river, a beautiful outdoor space for birdwatching, grilling, and relaxing, and a truly cozy and well appointed interior. We had everything we needed and then some — thanks for the eggs! I can’t recommend this place enough.
Wonderful location right on the Smith River. The owners have provided everything you would want. Beautiful out door patio overlooking the river.Easy access to the river. If we come back to the area we would stay here.
The cabin was very clean and cozy. The kitchen had everything needed to cook some great meals. The best is extremely comfortable. The owner very thoughtful and all the linens are above average.
Stunning views and so peaceful! We want to come back as soon as possible. This was the most relaxing and cozy bnb we’ve stayed at. We fell in love with this little cabin.Very clean, our host was so kind and welcoming. The sounds of the forest and river at night is incredible.
My mother and I spent 3 nights at the cabin. It was a wonderful place to come home to after exploring the Redwoods! Clean, cozy and the sofa bed was surprisingly comfy. Looking forward to coming back when it's warm out and you can swim in the river
