Located in the quiet and prestigious Summer Place neighborhood on the West end of the island, this bright happy beach home has a large pool and a landscaped and fenced back yard for the kids. The colorful Tiki Bar in the breezeway is an exceptional gathering place for everyone to relax and dine. The widows walk and front porch have spectacular sunsets. The 5 bedrooms are charming and all have private baths. The open floor plan includes a family room, kitchen, dining area and sun room with lots of natural light. More About the Home

This beach home re-entered the rental market in 2018 after being renovated and used as the owner's second home for the previous 13 years. Sleeps up to 10 adults or a maximum of 14 total with children. More than 50% of guests come back the next year. Many book a year in advance.

Outdoor spaces on the property include the following. A screened porch off the upstairs master bedroom allows mom and dad (or grandma and grandpa) a little privacy while they relax with their favorite beverage. Access to the front porch with 6 rocking chairs is through either of the downstairs bedrooms. The large deck off the kitchen has an umbrella and table for 4 with additional seating for 6. The Tiki Bar offers covered outdoor seating and dining for everyone in your party and is connected by a safety gate to the pool area. The propane grill has 5 burners and is conveniently located in the Tiki Bar. The large pool, in a refreshing shade called Bikini Blue, has sun and shade with seating for 12 plus a picnic table and umbrella which seats 8. An outdoor shower and a foot-wash in the breezeway help with sandy toes and salty kisses.

Hardwood and luxury vinyl plank flooring are through out the home. The kitchen has all stainless appliances, a large sink, and granite countertops. The laundry closet has a front loading full sized HE washer and dryer. The beds are comfortable and have been recently upgraded. Every bedroom is tastefully appointed and has a unique name. Choose your favorite room: Ocean, Sunset, Boat, Palm or Marsh.

-- Coleman 50 Quart Cooler Xtreme with long telescoping handle for easy pulling.
-- A beach cart for the sand with 12" balloon tires carries everything with ease on the 4 minute walk to the beach.

A golf cart charging outlet is conveniently located in the breezeway. Covered parking for 2 cars is in the breezeway with parking for 4 more cars in the driveway. Cable TV and WiFi are provided. The home has two central A/C units, one for each floor, both equipped with Aerus Space technology air scrubbers to kill viruses in the circulated air.

Nearby Restaurants and Excursions

The home is less than three quarters of a mile from a very popular miniature golf course, the fishing and sightseeing pier, Oean Isle Beach Town Center Park (renovated in 2024 and absolutely amazing for kids!), Pelican's Perch Bar and Grill, the Ocean Isle Creamery Ice Cream Shoppe and Sunset Slushie Italian Ice. Jinks Creek Waterfront Grill and Tiki Bar, which has spectacular views of the sunset, is also less than one mile, and an easy walk, from the home. Guests can beat the traffic with the same short walk to the outdoor concerts and dances held every Friday night during the summer season. Sharky's Restaurant and Marina is a little bit further at the Ocean Isle Bridge. For over 30 years, Sharky's has been a favorite destination for locals and visitors.

The area is a golfer's paradise with over 25 excellent courses within 20 miles. Ocean Isle Beach is also convenient to the Historic Riverfront District in Wilmington, NC where the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial and Civil War forts can be toured (approx. 40 miles to the north) and the numerous theaters, restaurants and amusements of North Myrtle Beach/Myrtle Beach, SC (approx. 37 miles to the south). The picturesque town of Southport (approx. 25 miles to the north) is a charming waterfront town which inspired the writing of Nicholas Sparks. In Southport you may also take a ferry ride to explore Fort Fisher and the North Carolina Aquarium.

This home is available between mid-May and mid-September each year. Rentals for this property are SATURDAY TO SATURDAY ONLY. No Sunday to Sunday rentals. Weekly or multiple week rentals only.

No smoking is allowed in the home, on the master bedroom porch, the front porch or in the breezeway Tiki Bar area. No pets of any kind. Families only. No golf groups or spring breakers.
