The peaceful 3 bedroom holiday home in Argeliers is situated in a dead end street in a quiet area, as beautiful accommodation for small families and groups.

The holiday home is equipped with private pool has a large semi-covered terrace with plenty of sun loungers, a barbecue and an outdoor shower. The tennis court and restaurants are nearby from the house is 200 m away. The supermarkets are within walking distance about 500 m only. Argeliers is only 33 km from the wide, sandy beaches of Gruissan and Valras-Plage.

Bike rental is 11 km and golf course is 26 km far away. The neat, simply furnished house has a living room with flatscreen TV ,an open kitchen with every modern necessities, every required sanitary facilities and spacious parking area. The enclosed garden also consists of lawn and some nice shade trees. A perfect location for the holiday. Carcassonne airport is the nearest airport from the house is only 138.8 km far away.

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in dit vakantiehuis in Argeliers! Het privézwembad viel erg in de smaak bij de kinderen en we hebben genoten van talloze barbecues op het ruime terras. Het huis is goed uitgerust en schoon, waardoor we ons als gezin prima konden installeren. Er zijn heerlijke restaurants in de buurt en we zijn zelfs naar de stranden van Gruissan geweest, die op korte rijafstand liggen. Kortom, een geweldige plek voor een ontspannend uitje!

Normaal zou je meteen het mooie huisje en prachtige zwembad en rustige omgeving ...

Normaal zou je meteen het mooie huisje en prachtige zwembad en rustige omgeving opvallen en de ontvangst door de vriendelijke eigenaar. Maar toen wij aankwamen woede er een brand op slechts 1 km van Argeliers. Die was de dag ervoor uitgebroken en op onze dag van aankomst opnieuw opgelaaid. De hond van de buren moest steeds blaffen (logisch, dat is z'n instinct). Wij vonden het niet erg, eerder zielig voor het beest, wij houden van honden. De brandweer had het gelukkig later op de avond onder controlle en we waren zo moe dat we prima sliepen. De dag (dagen) erna, was het gevaar geweken en begon voor ons pas de rust. Hondje ook weer kalm.

Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad in de eerste week van juni, het huis ligt in een rustige wijk in Argeliers in een doodlopende straat. Weinig geluid / herrie van verkeer of andere zaken. Het zwembad (volledig privé) is zeer groot met een grote fraaie tuin rondom. Het is een volledig vrijstaand huis en heeft ook door de ommuring veel privacy. Het zwembad werd meerdere malen per week schoongemaakt en was perfect. Het huis zelf heeft een eenvoudige woonkamer en keuken, maar alles is aanwezig en doet het. En niet onbelangrijk, alles was erg schoon (alles behalve een vanzelfsprekendheid). Nette badkamer en toilet, eenvoudige slaapkamers maar met bedden met een goed matras (geen kuilen of doorgezakte bedden). De eigenaar is bijzonder vriendelijk (en sprak gelukkig ook Spaans) en had bij aankomst maar liefst 3 flessen wijn (Rosé, Rood en wit koud staan voor ons), plus 4 biertjes. Tevens stond er op zondag morgen een tas met Croissants en chocolade broodjes voor de deur! Dan nog de omgeving, het dorp licht midden tussen de wijnvelden waar bijzondere fraaie wandelingen kan maken vanaf het huis. Ook de vignerons van argeliers zitten op loopafstand, zeer betaalbare wijn (Cabernet - Syrah en Merlot zeer aan te raden). Ten noorden van het dorp zie je verder de zuid westelijke uitlopers van het centraal massief, leuk om wat uitstapjes daar te doen (rivieren, grotten, gorges, meren en bijzonder fraaie auto routes) De zee is natuurlijk ook relatief dichtbij en ook Carcassone is op +/- 40 km afstand. Kortom wij hebben een bijzonder prettige week gehad, en wil zeker nog wel een keer terug, wat ons betreft een absolute aanrader.
