Nice little getaway

It was a perfect little get away for my wife and I. We were celebrating our 20 year wedding anniversary. we had nice walks on the beach and was able to watch the sunsets every night. I would stay at the West Beach Retreat again.

Beautiful place on the water

Was above and beyond our expectations for a family celebration for our sons 21st birthday. Panoramic view of the ocean .we will be back for sure Scott the host was very attentive

Never disappointed

This is probably our 5th stay at West Beach Retreat! WBR has always been most inviting, clean and peaceful. We love walking the beach at low tide and love 'taking in' the waves at high tide. Our young adult daughters love to think of it as their very own vacation home:) Thank you Scott for sharing your beautiful property. Many memories made!!

Exceptional property!

We recently stayed here, and it is a very clean, quiet, and well stocked property. There is a well stocked pantry with various spices, oils, and other food stuff that has been left by previous guests. I would definitely check the cupboards before you go shopping.The back deck is literally 20 feet from the water and you'll be treated to sea life and wonderful sunsets.The beds were great and we were well rested when we left.Definitely coming back.

Beautiful Whidbey Island West Beach Getaway

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful "gals getaway" for 2 nights at this outstanding beach house on the west side of Whidbey Island. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, 2 very comfortable bedrooms, newly remodeled bathroom with 2 sinks and huge shower, and living room/dining room furniture all in a updated "beachy" design for total comfort and relaxation. Beautiful sunsets over the Olympic Mountain range, beach walks in both directions right outside your front door, ducks, shorebirds, eagles, blue herons...This is the perfect spot! We would definitely come back here to stay again in the future.

Our stay in March was lovely. The property is in a nice location on the island with beautiful views. We ended up sleeping in the room that faces the water and it was a lovely way to wake up and the bed was very comfortable. Would stay again.

Beautiful setting along the beach… very comfortable great room, bedrooms and an amazing bathroom. Close to Oak Harbor restaurants and stores. Was just perfect for our family gathering!

We could have stayed here for days! Picture perfect! We loved everything about this home and our stay. Perfect end to our whirlwind trip to decompress before heading home. Clean, beautiful location and views, quiet and just amazing. Highly recommend!

Great House

We've stayed here a couple of times and love the house and the location. Beautiful view, a great trail for running or walking just down the street and everything you could need for your stay in terms of kitchen equipment, beach towels, etc. Property owners responded quickly when we reached out with questions. Highly recommend.

If I could give this listing more than 5 stars I certainly would. Amazing views, super clean and the kitchen utensils were nice, not like someone’s leftovers when they purchased new stuff. The place was just perfect! Muah! Chefs kiss!

Didn't want to leave!

This is our 4th or 5th time staying at West Beach retreat. We come back because we love the views, sunsets, roaring waves at high tide, walks on the beach at low tide and chill beach house that fits our family of 4 perfectly (daughters 16 and 20) Great place to relax. Rainbows and Heron

This was our 4th year in a row at this property. It's so comfortable and the views so gorgeous that you don't feel guilty for sitting around and doing absolutely nothing else during your vacation. This year we got lucky and were able to enjoy an afternoon rainstorm and a double rainbow after. We also saw heron which we hadn't seen before. I highly recommend staying at West Beach Retreat.

What makes this property unique

We honor our military at West Beach Retreat! We offer a 10% discount off the daily rental fee for all current active duty and former military members with military ID or proof of service. The offer is available to the person who books the property only not members of their party.

The grill is available from June through August only due to inclement weather and high winds we sometimes get limits us to seasonal access.
