The BEST rental

We have rented from Hazel and Steve in the past and can't say enough about this property. They check all the boxes: Everything you may possibly need while staying, a wonderfully decorated home, comfy and cozy, clean and close proximity to town. Thank you for another wonderful stay!

Beautiful Home

Beautiful home in Oak Harbor

This was our second time staying at this home in Oak Harbor and it won't be our last. We had a fantastic time in this home. It has everything you need to have a wonderful time and plenty of space to be very comfortable with family.

Beautiful get away

Everything you need is there. The hosts were very good at special touches to make us feel welcome. They provided info on places of interest and how to operate all appliances, tv, etc. House was very clean. Hosts were very open to any questions we had. Would highly recommend this place for all ages and families with children

Beautiful and clean home in Oak Harbor, WA. Has everything you need to stay in your home away from home. Also close to town if you need to pick up any supplies. Will happily stay here on my next visit to Oak Harbor.

Absolutely marvelous

Beautiful home with all the amenities, clean and well maintained. Seamless check in, owner contacted us with a welcome text! We were in the area for a wedding of our Granddaughter and had a great time. I will attempt to stay there next time we are in town! LOVED IT and can’t say enough, we hated to leave!!!!

This very nice home with a classy, clean interior was beautifully landscaped and we only wished we could have stayed longer. Comfortable beds, amply-supplied kitchen, plenty of linens, pleasant neighborhood. We even got to park our car in the garage. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely home away from home

This was our first time booking with this app, and I must say, the process was so easy and owners did an excellent job making our family feel at home and were available with just a text away. A Great Family Getaway on Whidbey Island

Great experience with property and host from start to finish. Property is located in Oak Harbor which was a great launchpad for us to explore Deception Pass and the Island. The host proactively reached out prior to check in and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. A bonus for our little guy was a playground across the street. Very well maintained and landscaped property would stay again!

It was pretty darn near perfect!

I stayed with my sisters and we had a wonderful time in this home. It is immaculately clean and we felt safe and pampered. The yard is so beautifully manicured and Hazel and Steve have thought of pretty much everything! They even bought and hooked up a dvd player for our stay and it worked flawlessly as well. They were attentive with questions and just to check in to make sure we were doing okay. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Thanks Steve and Hazel!

Perfect for our family

Everything about this home was perfect for our stay. It was minutes from family we visited there, plenty of space, quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen items, plenty of linens. I could go on and on. The home is even nicer in person than what the pictures showed and had everything we needed and more. Ms Hazel was awesome to work with and it is obvious they have put thought into providing as much as they possibly could to make guests feel at home. There were even toys for our almost 2yo granddaughter! Whidbey Island is a beautiful place to visit with lots of outdoor things to do.

Beautiful home that continually impresses.

This is one of the nicest homes we’ve ever rented. It’s beautifully kept, up-to-date, has all the little things you hope for in a rental home and the experience was excellent. Hazel was friendly, attentive and she keeps the place immaculate. They were excellent hosts, with little candies and wine to greet us. The coffee was great and the place was well maintained and looks exactly like the pictures online. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to stay in the heart of Oak Harbor and want easy access to other towns on Whidbey Island. Truly probably the best home and experience we’ve had. Absolutely recommend this place.

Pictures do not do this property justice!!!!!

Our trip to Washington did not disappoint. The picture to this house do not do it justice. Our family of five was completely comfortable over the Thanksgiving holidays. The appliances Are top of the line and all of the cooking utensils and dishes we’re available. Not only was the house immaculate when we got there the host was super awesome and accommodating. There is a park across the street not far from the house that my children thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent your home we cannot wait to come back.

Just Perfect Accommodations and Amazingly Clean!

We came to Oak Harbor with our family for a memorial service and I can not say enough about how the host had this house prepared for our stay. Besides it being spotless, the home had everything we needed at our disposal. We had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows and the owner left us coffee pods, ground coffee, sugar, cider, chocolate, paper towels and toilet paper along with other things.. It was such a blessing because we had such a long trip and had a lot to attend to when we were there. Not having to run to the store right away was great. Also, had everything we needed to iron our suits, etc and wash cloths when needed. Backyard was beautiful although we did not have time to use it, we enjoyed looking at the pretty grounds. Great fireplace for relaxing and beds were comfortable too. Thank you Hazel and Steve. We would recommend your property to anyone who needs to stay in Oak Harbor.

Simply wonderful!

We just got home from a stay at this lovely rental. It is perfect in every way-it’s extremely clean, and the decor and immediate feel upon arrival was so warm and cozy. It is well stocked with all you would ever need, plus some amazing little extras that were so very sweet to add. We had our family for a early Christmas gathering, and cooked a holiday dinner-and we had every utensil and baking dish we could want for-plus appliances that worked perfectly, and a large fridge that we could fill with all the groceries we needed for our stay. We have two infants in our group and they even offered pack and plays so that we didn’t have to lug extra equipment. Bedrooms were lovely with very comfortable beds and decorated as well for the holidays. Proximity to grocery stores and town was so very convenient for anything we forgot to bring along. I can’t say enough about how perfectly it worked for our group-we were so pleased with the house, and we would love to come back again for future stays. Thank you Hazel for making our celebration so very special!

This motto, first said to me decades ago by a distant relative, has shaped me both personally and professionally. After more than forty years in the retail and hospitality industries, I retired last December to focus my attention on my expanding family. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and I am fortunate to have the majority of my family living close by on Whidbey Island.

As a lifelong native to the breathtaking Pacific Northwest, I fully enjoy Washington state and all of the beauty it has to offer. Our temperate climate allows for a variety of year-around activities, such as hiking, boating, and skiing. In my spare time, I also enjoy crafting and meeting new people over a delicious cup of coffee.

Oak Harbor has been my husband and I's home for over eighty combined years, and it is a community unlike any other. From our beautiful state parks to our breathtaking Puget Sound views, Whidbey Island is a treasure we want others to experience firsthand.
