Two of my 3 homeaway listings are on Miles Kale Lake next door to each other. Miles Kale is a quiet small lake. On the next lake over is Island Lake on which I have my biggest lake home. See the map. They are within several 'blocks' of one another. Each home has a wooded acre associated with it. Two cottages share 300 feet of shoreline, an excellent dock, and a boat ramp. Miles Kale Lake is about 2 miles from the intersection of Marion County Roads 318 & 315 in Orange Springs, Fl, 32182. This unincorporated community sits on the northwestern edge of the Ocala National Forest and Lake Ocklawaha. The Island Lake house has a gorgeous lot, dock, and shoreline as well.
Other Activities: river kayaking, snorkeling in springs
Golf: There are public golf courses in the three surrounding cities: Ocala, Palatka, and Gainesville.

About Edward Wynne
A native Floridian, this lake property was owned by my grandparents and my parents. The lake was one of our vacation homes where we spent time as a family and enjoyed being with our cousins who owned the cottage next door. The ten of kids had a blast and were always challenging one another on water skis, swimming, and many other activities.
