Redwood Tree Haus - Cloud Lane

Redwood Tree House is a unique 2 bedroom 1 bath Tree House! Bring up to 8 guests to enjoy a much needed weekend getaway. When you step into the tree house you will see the big concrete tree in the middle, a galleria style kitchen/dining/living room. The complete kitchen has pots and pans to cook meals. After a long day its time for a good night sleep. In the first bedroom there is a large King bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed. For the kiddos or extra guests we have two twin beds and a fold-out double (sofa bed) in the living room. There is a full bathroom with sink, toilet and tub/shower combo.

Redwood Tree Haus is one of four tree houses around the shared pool. In addition to the tree houses we have the Lodge and two suites.

You will have access to the shared large walk-in swimming pool, cabana, mini children's playground and hot tub. There is plenty of seating outside and each of our properties has their own bbq grills. As you step into the pool it starts shallow and gets deeper so all ages can enjoy. The swimming pool has 17 swim up bar stools, sorry no bar tender! Bring your own drinks and refresh yourself. The Guadalupe River at Lake Dunlap is a short walk down the hill where you have access to only fishing or kayaking. Tubing is upstream from this property about 3 to 4 miles.


It's from 2 to 4 miles to most attractions to include Schlitterbahn Waterpark, Gruene & Gruene Hall, Floating the Rivers, Shops, Restaurants, Wineries and much more!

***Due to the nature of having dirt and trees above Redwood on occasions with hard rain it's possible to have a small leak on roof.

Awesome experience

Very unique and cool place to stay. The bar b que grills were convenient, the pool was fun and the king bed was super comfortable. Everyone really enjoyed the place.

Family Tree House Rental

The stay was great. The pool is feet away from tree house. However there is no longer a slide/from the floor to the tree house as advertised online and there is only 1 horse swing for the children. The pool was really big however I do think in they can maybe filter it better. It was super cloudy.

Does not live up to the description or photos of the property!

The location being right off the highway surrounded by a junk yard is not what we had in mind. Only a couple of the blinds closed to shutout the light coming in at night from the outside lights left on all night making it hard to sleep. Could not close out the hot sun that turned the living area into an oven. Outlet in the bathroom does not work & no ice maker or even ice trays. Bathroom needs updating, toilet so low it is more for children. Mold around the slippery tub.

We welcome our guests comments regarding our properties, it is the best way for us to be made aware of any issues that need attention that we may have missed in our ongoing efforts to proivde a safe, comfortable & enjoyable experience for our guests while they are staying in our properties. However, we take exception to several of the statements in this review. 1. These tree houses are located on a 50 acre waterfront property that is NOT next to a Hwy. It is a 1/4 mile from these houses to Hwy 46 and the property is accessed by a security gated entry. There is NO road noise here. 2. We do build our units with many repurposed materials that are sotored on about 8 acres of our 50 acre property between our houses and the Hwy, One man's junk is another's treasure ! 3. As for the toilet height, all of our units meet applicable building codes. 4. As for the blinds, plug in the bathroom & other housekeeping issues, we encourage our guests to bring these things to our attention for everyone's comfort and safety. We are available 24/7 if we are contacted while our guests are occupying the space. In this case we were not ! We thank this guest for their stay with us and appologize for the inconviences she seems to have experienced.
