Cottage of 120 m2 renovated and fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, wifi, TV, garden furniture, deckchairs, table tennis, barbecue, etc..). First floor: large living room, separate lounge semi. kitchen, fireplace, courtyard, 2d floor: 1 bedroom bed of 160 with private bathroom with shower, two bedrooms 1 bed 160 and 2 beds 90, second bathroom with shower, 1 WC. Linens provided. housekeeping at the end of the stay, subject to additional fee.
The cottage is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Perfect Haven to explore the Loire

Very clean and comfortable traditional cottage tucked way privately to create a little haven yet still can walk down the road for supplies and dining. The cottage is very well appointed and well set up for you to also be able to cook and dine as a family inside or out !

Comfortable cottage, clean when we arrived, very spatious for family of five. Good location for visiting Loire castles, villages, cities and wineries. Boulangerie and some restaurants are on walking distance. The gite is next to the house of the owners.

Ruhiges Ferienhaus mit schönem Garten

Wir (zwei erwachsene Paare) verbrachten eine sehr erholsame Woche in dem gepflegten Ferienhaus. Die Ausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen und wir hielten uns gerne im Garten auf, der viele verschiedene Sitzmöglichkeiten bot. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war freundlich und unkompliziert. Für einen Aufenthalt im Loiretal können wir das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Wir haben die Woche genossen

Obwohl man sagen muss, dass dieses Objekt sehr schön fotografiert ist. Tatsächlich ist der Garten ungepflegt und stellenweise fast verwahrlost. Das Haus selbst ist aber gemütlich eingerichtet, so dass man sich wohlfühlen kann. In der Küche war alles vorhanden, was man brauchte. Minuspunkte waren noch: die sehr kleine Toilette im OG, auf der man als Mann kaum Platz findet, und die wackelige Treppe. Plus: Nette Sitzplätze draußen 1x unterm Dach und 1x unter dem Apfelbaum. Insgesamt: Sehr nett. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und sehr zurückhaltend, aber wir mochten das so.

Gite aménagé avec goût, bien agencé et extrêmement bien équipé. Très bien chauffé l'hiver. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie impeccable. Tout fonctionne à merveille. L'extérieur est également bien aménagé, même si nous n'en avons pas vraiment profité en décembre, et bien isolé de la résidence principale pourtant proche. Les hôtes sont charmants, accueillants, attentifs et efficaces. L'emplacement est idéal pour découvrir la région et les châteaux. Un super séjour !

Charming and comfortable property

The large wooden gate opens on the beautiful landhouse of the owners...the surrounding park/garden is just as beautiful and is well maintained...nature prevails with wilde flowers and plants having been given the space they deserve. The property itself is nicely located in the back garden, surrounded by apple trees and plenty of green. The owners welcomed us and the check-in was warm, friendly and very relaxed. Same of the check-out. Totally hassle free. The gite is very comfortable, cosy and very well equipped and configured. The top floor with the two double bedrooms at each end of the corridor, the 2-single-beds bedroom in the middle and the two bathrooms/toilets, is really comfortable, practical and convenient. Plenty of space outside with the possibility to eat in the garden or under the original covered terrace. Whether the sun shines or the rains falls, it is a great place to stay at. And there is a delicious bakery just 5 minutes walk from the property. It is also perfectly geographically located: excellent base to discover the area and visits the Loire's castles. The great city of Tours is just a 15 min drive away. But also easily reachable by bike or bus. Last but not least, the owners are full of great info over the area, the wine yards, the good restaurants. They are very discreet but always available whenever needed. A great experience.

The family owner of this charming property fell in love of this peaceful and unique site located in an area classified UNESCO, more than ten years ago and of its charming and preserved village and yet close to all amenities and the beautiful Loire valley area.

Why they chose this property

Property built on the foothills of the ancient castle of Rochecorbon, adjoining the old Lantern watch, only vestige of the castle. At the heart of a charming village, while overlooking it, the site is surrounded by vineyards (AOC Vouvray) and situated along the Loire in a frame of an exceptional panorama, classified as world heritage by UNESCO.

Excellent starting point to visit the 'chateaux de la Loire'. From 15 to 30 kms from Amboise, Chenonceau, Azay Le Rideau, Villandry, Loches, Chinon, etc..
