About this property
1770's Honeymoon Cottage
A 1770 country cottage with a modern twist set back on a sprawling 1.5 acres of green lawn.
Welcome to our magical oasis. Three bedrooms, one bath with an open living room that gives way to the all-white and carerra marble kitchen designed in Italy by Poliform. Viking stove, Miele dishwasher, SubZero refrigerator make this a chef’s delight.
A dining room for six and sitting room/library complete the downstairs floor plan.
Climb up the stairs and two full sized bedrooms and one open with peaked ceilings. A claw foot tub ideal for bubble baths with a view of the garden finish the upstairs.
Outside, seek shade from the hot summer sun under 100 year old maple trees that create a canopy of shade over the side porch and back patio.
When you've put down your summer read, roam the 1.5 acres of manicured lawn and find a hidden pool with lounge chairs and a fire pit for midnight star-gazing.
Wander beyond the white picket fenced in pool, to find a great lawn ideal for croquet and badminton. The outdoor patio with teak outdoor dining table and chairs, oversized Restoration Hardware couches and coffee table, create additional relaxation and dining options.
This is old school Hamptons, with a modern take, and we promise it is pure magic.
