Rider's Rest #3 Within 2 miles of Tryon International Equestrian Center. Beautiful private brick home. Comfortable and clean. Large lawn and patio with grill. Two dog kennels available on site. Covered parking. Located on a quiet road surrounded by pastures in a quiet and safe neighborhood. Literally 3 minutes from TIEC facilities. New bathroom, hard wood floors throughout, fully stocked kitchen. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Spacious home that is comfortable for a couple of nights or a longer stay. Sarah was great! The home was clean and comfortable. The towels and linens were plentiful. The beds were comfortable. The setting is nice and quiet. The kitchen could be equipped a little better. There were five of us and only four coffee cups. The listing had a dishwasher listed in the amenities but we did not see one. Overall, this was a pleasant Thanksgiving for our family in a nice setting. We appreciate the host and the home.

At TIEC

The cat who we named Leonardo DeCatprio was a good friend to my son who was along the ride for his sisters show. The grill and outside area was perfect. Clean and plenty of space for a family.

Close to Tryon Equestrian for weekend event

We enjoyed our stay: very close to Tryon Equestrian (which has restaurants on site); and not too far from Rutherfordton if you need groceries or a meal out. Handy to have laundry at the house, inc. detergent and softener sheets. Comfy bed in the master BR and we like having two bathrooms even though we are just two people. ;-)

The host was very friendly and quick to respond with messages. The property has a lot of potential but in need of TLC. I kept the blinds closed because of the amount webs and spiders in each window…no bugs alive inside, just gave me the creeps to see it on the outside of the windows. We had to wash the dishes before we used them because they looked dirty. There was black in the corner of 2 of the closets and around each air vent. The couch was comfortable and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels and wash cloths. The neighborhood cat was so super friendly. Multiple GPS apps couldn’t find the home. We had to stop and ask a man who was out in his yard working.

Thank-you for the feedback. I will discuss these concerns with our cleaner (dishes), have never had that complaint before. We are in line for some roof work later this month- just trying to slip in between bookings as this house stays so booked between March- November. We are on a maintenance program for spraying for bugs etc. but we will also check into the outside windows and work on them.

Wonderful stay

I experienced a wonderful stay at this property. Three full size bedrooms, that are nicely furnished and cozy. Well maintained and clean, this property was all that I hoped it would be. Sarah is great to work with, and easy to contact. I spent the weekend with a friend and we had a great time. This property would also be great to stay with your family, or just a weekend away. Easy access to the Tryon International Equestrian Center and the highway. I will for sure be booking this property in the future.

Tranquil Escape in the Country

Let me just begin by expressing how perfect my stay was at Rider's Rest #3! Everything was as listed, offering a perfect atmosphere that was clean and cozy the entire weekend. The quiet atmosphere of the country was just what I needed to relax and enjoy my stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with the necessities and more, the beds were incredibly comfortable and the extra pillows and blankets were easily accessible, the bathroom was spotless, offering extra toiletries, blow drier, and extra towels. Though my stay was short, I enjoyed every aspect of it due to the thoughtfulness of Sarah and her husband. This property is in an ideal location, so close to the Tryon Equestrian Center, not far from the main highway, and close enough to Asheville for additional adventures. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others to consider if coming to this area!!
