Welcome to Eagle Point at Lake Adger where Southern elegance meets rustic charm at this lakeside retreat. As spring summer, and fall 2026 approaches, full lake access is available with breathtaking mountain scenery, abundant hiking trails, and many restaurants nearby. As my guest, my goal is to provide an atmosphere of genuine comfort in a warm, relaxed, yet refined log cabin home where "Good Memories Can Be Made". The cabin is located on a 1 acre panoramic main channel lakefront lot with 14 miles of shoreline and an average lake depth of 72 ft. Canoe and kayaks on property for guest use. During your stay, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, making s'mores around the campfire, stargazing, nature observation, and jumping off of Frog Rock on a warm Carolina blue sky day. Relax with your morning coffee on the rocking chair screened porch or deck overlooking the lake with private dock and mountain view. Take a leisurely walk on the community trail located directly across the road from the cabin. On a rainy day, play chess or assemble a puzzle on the 'Pony-Up' bar while drinking a hot chocolate or a cool lemonade beverage. Or, curl up in a soft leather chair with a good book next to the fireplace. Savor juicy steaks, corn on the cob, and hot dogs on the outdoor gas grill. At sunset, peacefully contemplate life on the lakeside tree hammock while listening to the sounds of nature's tranquility. A cabin 'Guest Book' provides a list of adventurous mountain hikes and scenic waterfalls to visit as well as dining suggestions and things to do in the area that appeal to a variety of interests and ages. Zip-line through Hickory Nut Gorge, go tubing down a river, sample local wines and craft beers, listen to a blues grass band, play tennis or golf, during winter months ice skate and see a Winterfest light show at Tryon Resort, attend an art or apple festival, horseback ride and pet animals at a stable, be marveled at the Biltmore Estate, go fishing on Lake Adger, enjoy a theatrical production at NC state’s Flat Rock Playhouse, shop locally made crafts and antiques or unwind with a spa treatment at the 1927 Lake Lure Inn.

Great escape. Pleasant, comfortable and tranquil. We also enjoyed Adger lake trail- across the street from driveway, Sky Top Orchard in Flat Rock, Hendersonville.Exactly the peaceful retreat we needed!
This was our return visit, after several years. We were very happy that the Cabin was essentially as we remembered. Clean, cozy, amazing screened porch, so peaceful outside! My husband even caught a few fish (catch and release) from the dock! It was quiet and relaxing and afforded all the essentials of a wonderful stay!
Perfect place to stay away and enjoy nature and the coziness of a beautiful cabin with so many details to enjoy !!! We had a blast as a family and definitely we will come back soon
Our family of four truly enjoyed our stay. There is a beautiful lake view. We swam in the lake every day and enjoyed using the kayaks. There are several cozy comfy places to sit inside and outside of the cabin. The kitchen was well stocked with high quality pots and pans, kitchen appliances, and cutlery. The pictures do not do it justice.
We had a wonderful stay in late March. Perfect place for our family of 4. Well stocked, great location off the beaten path. The hike to Little Bradley falls was a highlight. Would highly recommend for a getaway trip!
This cabin is probably the best-stocked Vrbo place we’ve ever stayed in! The location was wonderful and the amenities were so convenient. It was clean and comfortable and we really relaxed and enjoyed ourselves while we were there. This place is truly a gem!
Great view, relaxing screened porch, comfortable surroundings
Home is located with a beautiful view of the lake- plenty of spaces to hang out with family- the porch, deck, dock or fire pit area. Quiet and relaxing environment!
What a wonderful stay! The cabin was beautiful and had everything we could have wanted inside and out. The grounds were also phenomenal, right on the lake, beautifully landscaped, and many extras like kayaks were provided. Alicia was wonderful as our host and we would definitely return to the property in the future!
This was my all time favorite vacation rental. Truly. The cabin is incredibly well designed. Both bedrooms feel private. Both have their own bathrooms. The loft has a half bath.Back porch spans the entire width of the house and has a gorgeous view of the lake. The house is actually situated on a point so you get a full view of the lake from two sides of the house. There is a lower uncovered deck that makes you feel like you’re in the trees. The dock is perfect, there is a fire pit by the water. The host leaves nothing for renters to need… every possibly kitchen appliance, spice, cleaning supply, etcI can’t say enough good things about this littleHealing retreat.
The owner was a delight and wonderfully responsive. Much to do in the area for a multigenerational group while seeming private and quiet so naps were a speciality.
We had a wonderful time at this property. The house is immaculate with a ton of little touches that gave it an extra special feel. The property is cool with lots of water activities and very close to shopping and Lake Lure. We can’t wait to go back.
The cabin was clean, well appointed and beautifully decorated .
It was in a lovely community, felt whirl and all to ourselves, but safe. We would love to go back!
We had the best time staying in this beautiful cabin! From the moment we walked it we felt instantly at home. It was a perfect location with an incredible view and Alicia’s decor gave us the cozy cabin feeling we were looking for. The cabin was even better in person and exceeded all my expectations! Do not hesitate to rent this unique gem, you will not forget the property or the memories you make there!

Hi Amber,
Thank you so much for the kind review. As you know, Western NC was greatly impacted by Hurricane Helene. Some areas more severe than others. There was major flooding down by the lake but fortunately the cabin was unharmed. All of my guests cancelled except you! I appreciate your leap of faith in deciding to rent the cabin which is - in fact - my real home. Although the lake area wasn’t perfect when you were here, it is coming together and starting to resemble normal again. I’ve replaced the canoe, kayaks, fire pit chairs, life jackets, etc. that were washed away. Thank you for being awesome guests. I look forward to hosting you again should you decide to return. Repeat guests in good standing receive a 5% nightly discount and may book directly. I hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. Sincerely, Alicia
We had a wonderful stay at this property. It is clearly a home that is loved and well cared for. It i has everything you can think of or need. Cute artistic touches all around and the location on Lake Adgar was perfect for kayaking and fishing. We will definitely return and highly recommend!
Best rental so far of all the VRBO’s we have been to. This place is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need! The host is so kind and the process was so simple. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us, we will be back!
Great property and fantastic host! I will not adequately be able to express how incredible our time was at this property. The cabin was absolutely amazing, the photos captured it but seeing it in person just was awesome. There was nothing that we could think of that we wanted, or needed, in the cabin. We just truly relaxed and enjoyed. Every morning we would go kayaking on the lake and explore different areas each day. This area is so incredibly peaceful and beautiful! The afternoons were spent hanging out on the dock, and in the water with noodles hanging out and enjoying the great weather! We also spent time on the back deck playing games, and enjoying the evenings. I will definitely visit again!
My family & our lab adored this property & wished we had booked it for longer. Lots of special touches to make us know we are welcome & our pup was welcome.
Beautiful property & an absolute retreat. Arrival & departure was super easy. Thank you for sharing this space.
A friend and I were traveling to support our kids at a competition at Tryon International Equestrian Center. The house was clean and well set up for guests. It has everything you could need. Our host Alicia was lovely and very helpful. It was the perfect place to come back to and relax after a long horse show day.
I don’t have adequate words to describe how much we enjoyed our week long stay at this lovely cabin in the woods. The house was charming and perfect. It was well appointed. We had everything we needed and more.
The setting of the house is just a few yards away from a beautiful lake. The neighborhood was quiet and private. We highly recommend this property!

Welcome to Eagle Point at Lake Adger. As my guest, my goal is to provide an atmosphere of genuine comfort in a warm, relaxed yet refined log cabin home where "Good Memories Can Be Made".
Why they chose this property
Purchased property in 1998 to camp, swim, canoe, and fish on with my family and our black lab. Log cabin built in 2007 by Seay Construction.
What makes this property unique
Peaceful and serene four season log cabin on panoramic lakefront lot within easy driving distance from Charlotte, Asheville, and Greenville/Spartanburg SC. Favorite time of day - late afternoon sunset over sparkling water. "Sparkle Time"! Our sanctuary in the woods. Near all the local treasures.
