We really enjoyed our stay at Moulis. The cottage is lovely - really clean, really well equipped, beautifully situated. It's peaceful, with beautiful views, set in the heart of rural Ariege. The owner, Pete, was extremely helpful even though he was not at home the week we stayed (his house is next door). We had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property as a base for exploring the Ariege - we visited lots of the region's amazing places - Foix, the waterfall at Aulus Les Bains, several caves, Carcassonne, as well as exploring local footpaths. Thanks for a fantastic holiday!

Excellent, unbeatable
The gîte is excellent in every aspect. The location is superb, with a great view and nice and quiet surroundings. The garden of the palace it is adjacent to is great and fun, including two laberynths! The gîte is very spacious, confortable and it is a pleasure to cook in the perfectly equiped kitchen. The rooms are also very spacious, cosy and confortables, as it is the bathroom, with an enjoyable and large bath. And the best of all are the owners, Pete and Dalilla, superfriendly and eager to help on anything and both very interesting to chat with. And if you go with kids, as we went, they easily become friends with the owner´s kids. By far, the best gîte in the area.

Beautiful and comfortable
Easy to get to from Toulouse (about 90 mins) and a warm welcome from the owners on arrival. Clean and well furnished it suited us perfectly for a week of photography and exploring the mountains.
