A short drive to Mt Bohemia and Copper Harbor. Cozy and comfortable, this little house has everything you need to enjoy your stay in the Keweenaw. The Cabin exceeded our every expectation. It was cozy, very clean, updated and very well decorated, great new bathroom. Heat worked quickly and efficiently. Kitchen was very well equipped. Everything was wonderful. We wished we had booked it for more than one night!!!

Wonderful little house.

You definitely will not be disappointed when renting this little house. It is very clean and has everything you need. It was very close to our daily travels which we had a blast. The bed is very comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was awesome.

We loved the LBH

Perfect stop before Copper Harbor. Bette is a great hostess with a cozy, quiet place with great restaurants within a two minute walk! Great hospitality, great hosts. Highly recommended!!

We Felt At Home!

The Little Brown House was very homey - we felt like guests in someone's house - very inviting and comfortable. It was nice to be able to spread out into all the usual spaces of a house - living room, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. It is a perfect location for visiting everything on the Keweenaw peninsula.

Great cozy and convenient spot

Stayed at the LBH on the way to Copper Harbor and Isle Royal. The LBH is comfortable, cozy and very nice! Everything thing we needed with two great restaurants across the street and road. Bette is a GREAT hostess! Helpful with quick responses! Will definitely stay at the LBH whenever we’re in the area! Thanks Bette!

XcSki & Dance

We planned to ski at the Swedetown Nordic Center and attend a Dance Performance at the Michigan Tech University. Lodging in the area was spares as there was also a major University Hockey event.The Mohawk location was convenient to skiing and not that far from the University. Slims restaurant across the street was great for Breakfast!The only negative was a slight odor in the house.

My husband and I are excited to welcome you to the UP! We love living here in beautiful Keweenaw Peninsula, where we spend our time swimming and berry picking in the summer and snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter.

Our house is conveniently located for all visitors. A short drive takes you to the lake, skiing, fishing or hiking. We are located right by the ATV and snowmobile trail.
