Located next door to the House on the Hill, the Hilltop Cottage is perfect for couples looking for a peaceful place to relax in Eagle Harbor, Michigan.The Hilltop Cottage is one of very few year-round cabin rentals in the area. The cottage, perched high on the lighthouse ridge overlooking the harbor, is only a short walk to the beach. Step onto the front porch and soak in the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and sparkling harbor waters.

A small, private cottage including one bedroom with a queen bed, a cozy living area, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, and quaint front porch. This cottage is ideal for a couple, but a child could be accommodated on the pull-out futon couch in living area, if needed. No pets please.

Downhill Skiing - Mt Bohemia, a short 15 minute drive, has the longest runs with the highest vertical and deepest powder in the Midwest. Amazing skiing!

Snowmobiling - The Keweenaw Peninsula is known for its extensive and well-maintained snowmobiling trails.
Spring
Fishing - Whether you are a lake or a stream fisherman, your options are minutes away from the cottage. The fishing opportunities are abundant in the area.
Summer
Swimming, biking, hiking, star-gazing, berry picking... the adventures are unlimited.
Mountain Biking - The Copper Harbor Trails system provides over 32 miles of epic singletrack riding options including downhill tracks, flow trails, traditional cross country, and technically featured trails. Amazing biking!
Fall
Fall Colors - USA Today has reported the Keweenaw is one of the best places in the United States to see fall colors. Fall colors are best late September thru mid-October. Sit on the cottage porch and enjoy the colors.
Historical Adventures
Keweenaw National Historic Park - Copper has shaped the people and places on the Keweenaw Peninsula for thousands of years. In the 1840s, the first mineral mining rush in the US took place here. Although the mines have since closed, the history lives on. Visit website:
Eagle Harbor Lighthouse - Built in 1851 to provide navigational assistance for the increased traffic on Lake Superior due to the copper boom in the area. The lighthouse provides guided tours May-September.
