The Owl's Nest cabin is nestled in the heart of North Carolina's beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, overlooking the North Fork of the New River. The cabin is a short distance from Boone, Blowing Rock, West Jefferson and Mountain City, TN

This great cozy cabin is the ideal vacation spot - with both mountain and river views. The Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful in every season, each one presenting its own array of events, places to visit and things to do and see. Or, just enjoy a quiet place to escape from the hustle and bustle while still being within driving distance of a variety of activities.

This is one of the best property’s I have stayed at, this was our 2 nd time here. They have a big fire place out on the porch and that is where we stayed most of the time. Very quiet and peaceful.

Cabin is nestled in a tranquil valley at base of tree top mountain. It is an older cabin with its own charms. Host lives next door if we needed anything.We have gone at least twice a year for past four years. Love just sitting on porch and enjoying nature

Wonderful experience, fabulous stay, couldn’t have asked for a better break. House was just as stated, pet friendly (had 2 German shepherds), 25 minutes from West Jefferson and great area for fishing. Even with the bridge out, Laura gave great directions. Roger and Laura are great host, beautiful property and great location for pictures and wildlife. Would recommend!

This was our 2nd stay here and like before, we had a wonderful weekend! It's a beautiful and peaceful place. We enjoyed a fire on the covered patio each night. The bed was clean and comfy, the bathroom with heater is awesome! I always cook breakfast (at least), and the kitchen is very well stocked and items are clean. Highly recommend this place.

Excellent property, beautiful view, clean home, private and very pet friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the outdoor porch was a big plus for my family. We had a fire every night and spent little time inside other than sleeping. Host were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Everything was awesome, we came up for a hunting trip on three top mountain 13mins from cabin. Even with bridge out to cabin the new road was smooth sailing to cabin with truck. We plan to come back next year.

We always enjoy the cabin. We are very familiar with the area and enjoy what it has to offer. This is our 4th visit and it never gets old. The property manager and her husband are wonderful people.

The property was absolutely beautiful! The property was so beautiful! We were able to walk through some trails behind the house each day. Fully stocked house with whatever you need including plenty of firewood. The host was absolutely fabulous! Helpful with everything it was a little tricky to find the house, but the host gave us very good directions and was available. It was such a peaceful stay. The fireplace outside was extra special.
