Come stay in this newly renovated cozy cottage! Pet friendly* with a fully fenced and secluded yard and two car drive way for your convenience. Located a short 4 blocks from the center of Old Colorado City, and minutes from scenic Garden of the Gods! For your comfort this cottage has a double size bed, and queen sized hide away bed! Also, the kitchen is stocked a microwave, oven, fridge, along with necessary eating/cooking utensils.
Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are hard wired for your safety.
Easily accessible from both I-25 and highway 24 makes this cottage in the perfect spot for vacation!

Very nice great for a couple super cute and cozy only downfall was the busy road it was on was a little loud and if you drive a big vehicle not the best for parking we almost couldn’t fit in drive way but home was very nice and pet friendly so our baby got to come along

Listing not as it appears

It seems that the photos posted in VRBO are outdated because the property is not as nice as shown; those were probably take a couple of years ago. Some furniture has been changed out, pictures not on the walls and a loud AC unit sitting in the bedroom and vented out the window was used to try and cool all spaces. The bed was comfortable and we sleep really well despite the noise. The bathroom was cramped but nice with towels and soaps, and the shower worked well. We had difficulty with the WiFi but the host did correct that for us with a phone call. The outside space was not inviting. There is potential for this to be a really nice little cottage to stay at but the host needs to put some time into that. The welcome book needs to be updated to eliminate the lined through corrections that have been made. I wish I had taken pictures but seems I'm not the only one with concerns based on other reviews.

Great location and size

I was traveling alone, visiting a friend, OCC and Manitou Springs. I was able to walk into OCC easily and quickly and take a short bus ride to Manitou Springs. The hosts gave me helpful instructions. The place was the perfect little "cabin" with a bedroom, a bathroom and a kitchen-living room combo. I was able to eat locally and also cook light fare in the cabin. Host was responsive adn helpful. I would stay there again.

Not an accurate discription

Tried to extend the stay by 2 days and messaged owner a month before the stay. The room was open when i sent the message. A week later when i hadn't received a reply. I emailed again. The place was no longer available. Pictures are not the same as actual furnishings. No patio chairs for the table as pictured. 2 lounge chairs but you can't sit at the table in a lounger. Not the same couch pictured and it was ripped and completely worn out. Impossible to sit on. VERY difficult to get out of tbe steep driveway onto a busy street. If you just want a bed and shower and don't need to spend much time there, it's okay.

Overall great place for 2 people and the location was great as well. The hosts were great and easy to talk to if you needed to. It was clean and had a fire pit out back. The sofa is pretty uncomfortable I will say and the tv is slow but otherwise it was great. I’d say here again.

Cute cottage in Colorado Springs

Perfect place to stay to be near all the great things to do in Colorado Springs and Manitou Springs. We love having our own outdoor space to relax in after a busy day and a full kitchen to cook in. Save a bit of cash for other things! I would recommend and stay here again.

Overall, the cabin was comfortable, well located to activities and good walking routes. The only suggestions I'd make are to replace the aging couch and get a window bar for the bedroom window so it can't be opened while the a/c exhaust is there.

Convenient Cute Cottage

The cottage is cute and clean. The property manager was easy to communicate with. The pros are the location of the cottage and its cleanliness. The bed is very comfortable. The cons are the sofa desparately needs replacing as does the outdoor chairs. The place has so much potential if the owner would replace those items. Another con is the bathroom is not stocked at all - so bring your own soap and shampoo. I also would not advise summer visits as the A/C in the bedroom does not cool down the cottage. If visiting in fall or spring, it would be perfect especially if the outside furniture gets replaced.
