We have a very enjoyable time at Tony's house on the big island. It was nice and spacious and convenient to many things to do on the Hilo side. We would highly recommend it.
This is our 2nd stay at this property and will continue to be our 1st choice when staying on The Big Island. We love everything about the place! The remote location makes it relaxing but also close enough to EVERYTHING else you need. Tony is very responsive if you should need anything. Already looking forward to our next trip!
Everything was perfect from the start to the finish... Tony/property mgr was very accommodating from start to finish. We been doing this weekend golf trip for 25 years, and im thinking this was the best home we stayed at!A very memorable had by all.Aloha and Mahalo!
Our stay was excellent! The home was exactly what we needed for our large group.
We found the home to be clean and tidy when we arrived. Communication with the host was excellent. The location was perfect for us; close enough to Hilo and the National Park.
We will definitely be staying here again!
Great location and accommodations for our family of 9 ranging in age from 7-70 to visit the Volcano National Park and Hilo area. Comfortable and clean.
Very clean with plenty of supplies and necessities provided by the host. Beautiful yard and very nice view. Our only complaint is the roosters from the next door neighbor. If you are a light sleeper you will definitely need ear plugs.
The house is spacious and can accommodate a large group. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware and serve ware, which allowed us to have a few large family meals together and there is enough space for everyone!
Mahalo!
Huge, airy, and bright house. The roosters in the general area (not the actual property) were annoying, but the noise was very manageable. Tony answered all of my questions very quickly and provided everything that we needed to make our stay enjoyable.
An excellent place to stay, it is away from the main road and so beautiful. You are in your own getaway. Our family loved it and it was very accommodating for our family of 12 people. We would definitely come back. Anthony was great to work with. Mahola

We were absolutely enchanted by the location of this property. The hammock on the deck became everyone’s favorite spot. The house is well equipped, immaculately clean, and magical. We saw geckos and frogs and wild pigs. I would definitely recommend this property for families that want a quiet haven that is secluded and quiet, but close enough to drive into Hilo very quickly.
We had a great experience. Plenty of space for our family of seven. The property was beautiful-quiet, tropical rainforest. Loved the hammock and relaxing out back. Loved the welcome treats. We enjoyed the frogs croaking at night. The house had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and was very clean. Lots of extra blankets and bedding. We would definitely rent again.
Our multigenerational family of 10 enjoyed this little getaway in the rainforest! The home was clean and spacious for all of us. It was a great location to visit Hilo, Akaka State Falls, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We enjoyed the park like property and the sounds of the frogs, roosters and even wild pigs! The owner provided ear plugs for sensitive sleepers as well as bottled water, sunscreen, and bug spray. There was beach equipment and coolers for day trips. The road to access the property is a little bumpy, but allows for a secluded location. Tony was communicative and helpful to make check in and check out easy.

Thank you Becca! You folks are always welcome back.
Possibly the best deal on the island for a large group!
Our group of 12 (2 families with kids) had a wonderful stay at Orchidland Estates. The house is large, clean and very well equipped with all the necessities of a home. The only things I can think of that potential visitors should know are: 1. There is no dishwasher (not a big problem for us, as we could put our teenagers to work!) 2. The downstairs bedroom is separated from the rest of the house-- you need to walk a few feet outside to enter the house via the back door to access the bathroom. Once again, not a huge problem, but some (e.g. kids) may not prefer this set-up. 3. Because there's no AC, it's necessary to sleep with the windows open, which means that you will hear a LOT of nature sounds (coqui frogs, birds, goats, dogs, roosters). The owner very thoughtfully provided earplugs (thanks!) or bring your own. All in all a great place to stay!
WOW! Was the first impression and it didn't disappoint! The house was very clean, stocked and spacious. It's perfect for 10 people. There is only one bedroom on the bottom floor..but it is close to a bathroom and the laundry. Everything was very clean and just like described. The only thing i think that was a surprise..or i may bave missed it.. it is on a dirt road...about not quite a mile that has alot of potholes .. so just be careful if you rent a low sitting vehicle... but it is worth the drive. There is no AC... but all the rooms have multiple windows and fans... and it's not too bad. The only thing is at night you will hear all the night creatures....and the roosters....which can be loud..but its peaceful..and ear plugs are provided if you need them. There is a great neighborhood restaurant Kaleos that was pretty great! Anthony was a great host and great communication. Overall, a wonderful place to enjoy Hawaii.
This house is beautiful and super clean. The actual house looks way better than the pictures. We love the fresh flower bouquet on the dinning table. The pleasant smell from the yellow ginger flowers made us very relaxed.
There are plenty of towels and pillows in the house. The bedding is very comfortable. My husband loves the executive desk where he could work in the evening. The house has two wi-fi networks. When my son used one to play video games I used the other to do my work.
We appreciate that Tony gives attention to every detail. For example, there is a night light in every room and in the hallways both upstairs and downstairs. With that, one won’t trip or fall off the stairs at night while looking for bathrooms. The laundry room has a desk next to the dryer where one can fold clothes. There are medical emergency kits and flash lights in the cabinet by the entrance door in case of a power outage.
The house is 30 miles away from the volcano visitor center. But it is worth it to drive there to enjoy this beautiful home. We enjoy sitting on the patio to watch the tropical plants and listen to birds talking.

We had a wonderful time here. Check in and out was a breeze. Tony was always quick to respond to messages. Beautiful home and property. Loved the little details especially. We had a group of 12 from age 1 to 72, and it was perfect for all of us. Hope we can visit again!
We stayed at Anthony’s place for 5 nights in June. From the start to the end of our stay it was a pleasure to interact and communicate with Anthony. Anthony was very responsive to all my questions and also accommodated a couple of requests that we had. This made the reservation process very smooth and streamlined.
Anthony’s house is a gem-the check in process was easy and seamless. The house was spotless and had all the necessities. Very thoughtfully stocked with everything that a family/ friends get together would need. As beautiful as the house is, the surroundings are even better and made for a peaceful stay.
Lastly, Anthony’s property is conveniently located about 20-25 min from
Hilo town to the north and about 45 min from Volcano National Park to the south. This made getting around very convenient.
Overall, a fantastic stay and we will certainly return if we visit Big Island again!
We had a great time at the property with our family. The location was great and the property was beautiful. Thanks Tony.
