Wonderful seaside stay

This is a beautiful sea side house, just walk two minutes across the street to the beach. We loved how much space there was both inside and outside the house. Our children loved the gardens and the pool, and we enjoyed cooking on the grill or in the kitchen and then eating on the terrace. We would definitely stay here again! Notes: Steep parking for a few cars, on a busy street that makes it easy to drive to town or hiking, and lots of stairs to get in and out of the house, as well as throughout the house.

Very happy that your whole family enjoyed the time at our villa! Hope to see you here again soon! The driveway leading up to the villa is indeed on a slope -thats what makes the view so beautiful from the villa!-so we most often leave the cars(except for loading and unloading) on the ample parking on the road The road in itself leads to a dead end so there is no through traffic , but there are of course , hikers, runners , and people going to the beach! The villa has a number of levels, which make for the spacious aspect that Nicole and her family enjoyed!

Great family holiday villa in southern Corsica.

We stayed in Ajaccio in June 2023. The villa is spacious and was ideal for our group of seven adults. Beautiful weather and warm temperatures meant that eating outside was routine. Very good, clean pool, that we used a lot. Excellent views of the sea and coast. It was useful to be just a short distance out of Ajaccio. Quieter and still convenient to get into the city. Multi-level villa with airconditioning in most of the bedrooms. Fans in the very large lounge. Well appointed generally with a great charcoal barbeque. Rubbish collection at the gate but recycling needs to go down the road to the bins. All in all an excellent location from which to explore the whole region.

Séjour Ajaccio

Séminaire entre collègue, il s'est très bien passé. Les activités sont multiples entre la plage et la piscine. Le port d'Ajaccio est à moins de 20 minutes en voiture. Résidence propre et correspondant à l'annonce.

Nous sommes ravis que Bruno et es amis ont apprécié notre accueil et notre emplacement avec sa vue imprenable de la villa sur la baie d'Ajaccio! Nous aurions dit de charactère plutôt que ancien , mais nous regarderons comme tous les ans pour voir quelles améliorations nous pourrions faire! En effet, la maison est construite sur le flanc de la colline qui descend sur la mer et à la plage , et donc il y a des marches .Ces différents niveaux en revanche rendent la maison spacieuse et agréable: chaque chambre a son balcon ou terrasse ,,il y a donc de l'espace pour toutes les membres d'une famille, ou d'un groupe , tout en ayant les espaces pour se rencontrer (salon, jardin, piscine, salle à manger extérieur ou intérieur., barbecue etc....) Nous espérons pouvoir accueillir Bruno et ses amis de nouveau !

SUPERBE SEJOUR AVEC VUE SUR LA BAIE D'AJACCIO

Spacieuse maison avec vue imbattable sur la baie d'Ajaccio. Idéalement située sur la route des sanguinaires, juste la petite route à traverser pour aller à la plage ou aller manger au bord de l'eau. Nous étions deux familles, en tout 6 adultes et 5 enfants, sans aucun problème. Il y a également tout l'équipement de puériculture pour bébé. Un lieu de vacances à recommander!!!!

Angèle a eu des problèmes que nous n'avons jamais rencontrés avant, liés aux grosses chaleurs pendant son séjour. Nous mettons en place un passage plus fréquent de notre équipe de piscine pendant la période chaude et nous avons mis des climatiseurs dans les chambres hautes de la villa, mentionnées par Angèle,, en renfort des refroidisseurs d'air Dyson qui sont dans tous les chambres, et des ventilateurs à disposition à travers la maison. Nous espérons que malgré ces sujets de dissatisfaction Angèle et sa famille ont passe un bon séjour ,sur les Sanguinaires.

Excellent séjour dans une très belle villa et un cadre magnifique!

Nous étions 2 familles avec enfants et avons séjourné 5 jours à la villa Alba Marina. Et le moins que l’on puisse dire est que tout a été parfait! Nous avons été très bien accueillis et le panier de bienvenue avec ses produits locaux nous a ravi. Mme Smertnik propose une très belle et grande villa, non loin de la pointe de la Parata et de sa vue imprenable sur les Sanguinaires. La maison est spacieuse et bien équipée et la seule vue sur la mer depuis certaines chambres, le salon ou bien le jardin vous fait sentir en vacances à chaque instant. La proximité de la mer, des plages et des nombreuses paillotes attenantes fut aussi un plus indéniable. Bref, nous avons extrêmement bien profité de ce séjour qui fut, hélas, trop court. Nous reviendrons assurément! Un grand merci!

Super villa pour se détendre en famille ou avec les amis.bien accueilli par l agence et/ou propriétaire. Manque d'éclairage de manière générale surtout dehors, mais peu gênant car des lanternes électriques sont à disposition.

Perfect Beach Holiday at Alba Marina

We had a fanstastic time at this spacious and wonderful villa. Everything is exactly as described. You can walk to the beach and enjoy swimming at a nice sandy beach bay. Also the swimming pool is terrific. Sitting on the veranda and enjoying the absolut magnificent view is also an good option to relax. Sheila is a very helpful, approachable and kind landlady.

L’emplacement de la maison est ideal avec une tres belle vue et la plus belle plage de la route des sanguinaires a 20 metres. La proprietaire est tres prevenante et a gere tres rapidement les petits sujets sur lesquels nous avons eu besoin d’elle. Sejour tres agreable.

Superbe séjour sur la route dès Sanguinaires

Magnifique propriété à 3’ à pieds d’une très belle plage. La vue est magnifique! Avant / après la plage piscine et jardin très agréables. Les chambres et leur salle d’eau sont réparties sur 4 niveaux : configuration idéale pour une large famille ou pour un séjour entre amis. Je recommande cette villa sans hésiter!

A perfect home away from home

This is undoubtedly the best villa we have stayed in for a family holiday. The house is minutes from a sandy beach with boats, boards and kayaks for hire and beach cafes for food and refreshment. The villa is on a slope and the views over the trees to the sea are stunning. At the back the gardens are terraced while in front there are well maintained lawns and flower beds. You can swim in the pool, laze under one of the large umbrellas or cook on the barbecue. We also enjoyed taking the bus along the coast into the interesting town of Ajaccio. The house is very well furnished, comfortable and generously equipped with everything you could want for a holiday. Alba Marina a lovely place to stay.

Sehr schöne Villa mit super Lage und wunderschönen Pool und Strand!

Die Qualität der Zimmer ist sehr unterschiedlich. Top ausgerüstete Küche und guter Outdoor Grill. Viel Platz für 10 Personen. Tolles Wohnzimmer mit guter TV Anlage. Das WLAN lässt zu Wünschen übrig.

Glad that you had a good time, and that you liked the over all space... the living room, the kitchen.... and that everybody was happy and comfortable! You have pointed out that each of the rooms are different; I can understand that this might present a difficulty of choosing who goes where when you arrive with family and friends. Each of the room has its advantages,and their difference is due to the fact of the villa being an original and unique individual and family house, and not a standardised purpose built rental property. As for the WIFI issues you mention , if they were relative to poor reception in some parts of the house , I don't know whether you used the range extender provided, but in any case the service provider is scheduled to come and check the system to make sure all is well! Séjour en famille, 8 adultes et 2 enfants en bas âge: la maison est grande et fonctionnelle, chacun a son coin d'intimité et il existe de beaux espaces communs pour partager d'agréables moments. La terrasse extérieure avec vue sur la mer est un pur délice! Tous les jours, nous avons profité de la mer à 50 mètres seulement... la plage, le kayak et paddle tôt le matin, le diner à la paillotte, la longue promenade jusqu'à Parata... tout cela à pieds. Nous avons également apprécié la piscine sans aucun souci grâce à la sécurité enfants. Nous avons passé de merveilleuses vacances... Merci encore Sheila!

We are a family with 2 grown children (34 and 30), and now two grand - children who all live abroad.. We are all French ; I am originally from Canada, and our children live abroad so we have a fairly international family,.
We all have quite diifferent occupations: my husband in finance,and teaching myself in the automotive sector, my son in hotel investment and my daughter in development consulting .
We are therefore very happy to spend time all together with family and friends in our villa in Ajaccio

Why they chose this property

We first discovered Corsica from the sea, having made many cruises around the island. Enchanted by its beauty, we wanted to get to know the island better. ,. Ajaccio is a wonderful city , as it is lively and pretty in summer of course, but also throughout the year., and our house is very welcoming . Our children love the island and the house, and come as often as they can. My son even chose Ajaccio and the Route des Sanguinaires for his wedding, and the beauty and magic of the place as well as the Corsican hospitality , contributed greatly to the event's success. Our house is therefore part of our family history, and we come back every time with the same pleasure

What makes this property unique

Alba Marina is a very pleasant and welcoming house.. It is spacious and cool with a magnificent view of the pool, the sea beyond , and the bay of Ajaccio with sailboats and ferries criss-crossing in the distance The villa has the unique advantage of being close to town, (, with everything you might need available nearby) while minutes away from a protected wilderness area
You can spend time at the pool, on the terrace just outside the house, or under the large palm tree in the garden. You can go swimming at sea many times as you want and for as much time as you like, since the beach is is a 2 minute walk away.
You can have lunch in the shade on the terrace ,, or if you don’t feel like cooking, go to the nearby beach restaurants,” Le Goeland “or “The Weekend “-. In the evening cocktails under the palm tree before dining under a starry sky at home , or going to test the cuisine in the retaurants along the sea , or in Ajaccio.
There are enchanted days to spend just in and around the house. ,to which you can add sports, cultural, and tourist activities
For sport, there is swimming, windsurfing, running or walking to the Sangunaires Nature Park reputed for the most beautiful sunsets .There are tennis courts nearby, and the possibility of boating kayaking jet skiing, paddleboard.
.You can go on excursions in the mountains, or visit other beaches For culture and tourism ,you can go down town, , visit the market, go shopping, visit the museums . !
So the house in itself makes for a wonderful stay, , and in addition can act as a base for the activities you prefer.
