Cottage in a pretty Minervois village in the upstairs of a wine cellar, providing a beautiful solarium south 40m² terrace with private spa for 5 people, garden furniture, barbecue.

Our lovely village of Castelnau is ideally located in the center of the Aude department .who is characterized by a great diversity of landscapes of the Mediterranean to the Pyrenees.
Thus, you will discover the medieval castles, the 'Citadels of Vertigo' testimonies of the Cathar epic, abbeys and cloisters, but also the medieval city of Carcassonne, Narbonne the Roman, prehistoric caves that line the route discovery lovers of history. You can also stroll under the old shades of the Canal du Midi, or choose to practice all the outdoor activities in the mountains like the sea, in wonderful natural scenery! Hiking, water sports, cycling and mountain biking, caving, Aude offers all the landscapes, all possible!
But in any case, yield to the invitation gourmet delights, fine wines and gastronomy of the Aude, in the heart of the largest and oldest vineyard in France! Anne-Marie and Roland will make you discover the vineyard and the wines of Terres Georges and will tell you about their profession of winegrower (visit of the exploitation and tasting included in the stay)

What a wonderful spot in the Minervois, both the location for exploring but more importantly, the apartment itself. Large, clean, rustic with wonderful outdoor space. Anne-Marie and Roland take good care to ensure their guests have a good stay, are very responsive and welcoming.

Die zwei Wochen in Castelnau waren eine tolle Erfahrung. Der Urlaub war rundum gelungen. Die Wohnung liegt über dem Weinlager und ist über eine Steintreppe erreichbar. Man kommt direkt auf die Terrasse mit Jaccuzzi und Grill und Möbiliar heraus. Durch die Tür erreicht man das Wohn/Eßzimmer mit integrierter Küche. Die Wohnung verfügt über eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage, die es einem auch an heißen Tagen ermöglicht, Luft zu bekommen. Die Zimmer sind ansprechend und schön gestaltet, es ist genug Platz für bis zu sechs Personen. Der Check In war ganz easy, da wir während der Fahrt mit Anne Marie Kontakt gehalten hatten, haben ihr dann eine halbe Stunde vor Ankunft nochmal gesagt, wo wir sind und wurden im Hof bereits erwartet.In der Umgebung von Castelnau gibt es Bäckerei, Tankstelle, Supermarkt und ein tolles Restaurant (alles im Nachbarort, ca 5km entfernt). Auch für Strandbesuche und Kulturabstecher in Abtei, Museum, etc ist es ein toller Ausgangspunkt. Man kann viel erleben, wir waren raften und Kanu fahren, wandern und am Strand, alles in akzeptabler Entfernung. Direkt vor Ort war auch eine Weinprobe mit leckerem Wein möglich. Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank für den tollen Urlaub

Un gîte à recommander sans hésitation!

Très beau gîte, agréable et confortable même pendant cette semaine de canicule. La terrasse, à l’ombre le matin et des 18 h en ce milieu de juillet, permet de prendre petits déjeuners et soupers à l’extérieur. Pour le midi, profitez d’une terrasse dans un des magnifiques sites environnants. Lagrasse, Minerve, Perpignan et bien d’autres! Les hôtes sont accueillants et prévenants, ne manquez pas de goûter les vins du domaine!

week-end pascal parfait dans le minervois.

Nous avons passé un excellent week-end pascal dans ce superbe gite très calme et très bien équipé ( le spa est parfait et très spacieux ) . Nous avons rencontré un couple de viticulteur passionnés qui nous ont compté leur aventure viticole et ce fut un agréable moment. En espérant revenir vite dans le Minervois et donc ce gite pour visiter tout ce que l'on n'a pas pu voir et il y a à faire. frédéric

Une belle découverte pour ce gîte spacieux, bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. La terrasse et son jacuzzi offrent un espace de détente vraiment appréciable. Pour les amoureux du vin, vous serez comblés car les propriétaires savent vous faire partager la passion de leur métier. Un séjour terroir et charme...

Le gîte conjugue le charme de l'ancien aux équipements modernes de qualité. La grande pièce de vie, très confortable, et la terrasse avec vue paisible et jacuzzi ont été particulièrement appréciés... Nous avons vraiment beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Anne-Marie et Roland, ils ont pris le temps de nous renseigner, de nous faire visiter leur vignoble et de déguster leur vins (qui sont excellents!). Des discussions très intéressantes avec des passionnés, nous sommes repartis quasiment experts œnologues après ce week-end! Le gite est très confortable, rénové avec beaucoup de gout, on y est au calme, très à l'aise à 6 personnes, les équipements sont nombreux, la terrasse et le spa ont été très appréciés! Nous recommandons sans hésiter!

Nous sommes 6 adultes amateurs de vins et avons apprécié un gîte confortable, spacieux, bien équipé et cosy. L'accueil et l'attention des propriétaires ont fait en sorte que ce séjour se passe le mieux possible. Nous avons également bénéficié d'une visite guidée de leurs vignes ainsi que des chais, ponctué par une dégustation de leurs produits. Un moment partagé très agréable.

Un accueil fantastique de ces deux grands amoureux de leur travail d'éleveur de vin et tout l'amour de Roland pour ses vignes est comparable à celui de son épouse Anne-marie qui a su penser et décorer un home parfait à tous égards. Très vive recommandation, et je conserve soigneusement cette adresse afin de continuer à découvrir cette superbe région ......
